So ... after having the phone for a week i couldn't fault it, i was banging on about it to anyone and everyone very happy customer, 30 days into ownership, i cant wait till the contract with the phone is up!!!! after waking up and taking it off charge, the top and bottom bezel has just fallen to the floor! After an hour on the phone still nowhere i'm not going through my insurance as its not even a month old. KEEP AWAY, the build quality is close to that of a cake made by a 3 year old.

Sony was first with 4K display that the human eye can’t differenate from a 1K display…just a useless gimmick on a 5” screen ! …. That’s why no other brand wants 4K display on a mobile phone.
Sony slow mo 960fps that only works for 0.8 of one second and only in manual mode…just another useless gimmick !

SixTymes, 06 Apr 2018Soap bars have smooth ROUNDED corners, this does not. You should read the comments correctly. His comment was a reply about Sony XZ2. And it does has rounded corners and fat soap bar design with no 3.5mm jack input.

Not so water resistent, rooting was a hell and the overall performance isn't that great. The "slomotion video recordding" is a false advertisement allowing you to record a clip for 2-3 seconds maximum. Bye bye Sony!

so Avan i... more18:9 with ergonomic design, your beloved brand never did! You still need to reposition your finger everytime you press between the notification bar, on-screen-navigation, and back fingerprint scanner.
XZ2 has 18:9 ratio and with ergonomic design where the competitors all failed on ergonomic design.

why all sony fanboys will be like : use manual mode lol
you can't get good shots at night because of the apperture f2.0 ,Not like S8 f1.7
and dyanmic range is either bad

Great phone, really has exceeded my expectations. It is beautiful to look at, amazing colors, brilliant 4K screen with all the tech you would expect from a flagship.
Camera is great for outdoor shots, however in low light and dim indoors it lacks compared to other flagships.
Overall, the best Sony phone I have owned. Very happy.

Sure, you can get some nice daylight photos. That goes for just about any flagship on the market. Lowlight performance is mediocre to terrible (unless you have a tripod stored up your butt). And while I like the omnibalance design and reflective finish, the screen-to-body ratio is pathetic. Those front-facing stereo speakers are also weak.
