Other companies went with the dual camera while Sony with single camera does the job very well, only Google pixel 2 to come close or surprisingly better.

At least try to be objective. The aesthetic is a subjective choice but impartially the Note 8 has superior camera. It also has the IP68 rating so that is no point in XZPs favour. Anyone who is honest admits that XZP camera is weaker than competition.

Super vivid mode on the display makes low quality videos more worst in my phone. I couldn't see the details of human face. Does anybody has this issue? Is this normal? Then what's the best display mode?

It's worrying if Sony are going for LG OLED screen. Just compare LG V30 & Pixel 2 XL with Samsung & iPhone X screens.

It looks like Sony is going LG oled here, but I personally wont buy a Sony oled phone, even those that are Sonys own JOLED made in the future, until it proves to have no issue reports after at least a year post release.
And I believe Sony will keep releasing its more quality JDI lcd based phone portfolio, even in flagships, as they are part of JDI.
Article mentions foldable Sony phones in the future, I guess that is the reason of going oled here...
Sony also patented a DVS system, as in Dynamic vibration system, which no one yet know what it exactly is.....could be camera related, or could be a solution to most oled screen shortcomings.
There is a good reason why Sony avoided oled screens, as it would take a hit on screen endurance and quality, but maybe they developed a way to use it properly.
So we should all just wait causiously and see what Sony has to offer in that regard...

Looking forward to the XZ Pro at MWC.
Wishlist:
* OLED screen + always on display
* Smaller bezels
* OIS + RAW capture
* Updated UI
* Better speaker loudness
* Wireless charging
* Chrome (mirror finish) like Z5/XZ Premium
If Sony can tick most of those boxes I might trade in my iPhone.
