They don't claim that it's Waterproof, it's Water Resistant. Put it in a bath, bye bye phone. Use it in light rain, ya SHOULD be ok.

Waterproof/water-resist phone is IMPOSSIBLE, many have become sony's ads victim, their phone broken after 2-3months, and warranty will be void/unusable. Please give information to your friends who wants to buy "waterproof" phone

vs, 16 Jul 2014very poor camera dnt buy xperia z.Poor camera!! Dude, we are talking about Xperia Z, and it has a beautiful camera. Oh, sorry, you are right, its poorer than Canon D50 DSLR :(

Can anyone help me about xperia z album. I hav alot of pictures in my album.. By the time i scroll down to the bottom of pics(usually half the images) the phone heats up so much and turns of automatically. What could be th problem?? What can i do to stop phone shutting down coz of albums??? Please help

i just had a problem with my xperia z and i don't know how to proceed...maybe someone can help me. I got my phone wet, it was in the pocket of my shorts and a sea wave hit me...took it right out and it had stopped working. After i let it dry i inspected it and opened all the ports and the one from the headphones...witch i never use has that white thing tuned red and there is water in the camera lens. After about 5 hours when i plugged it in it started in safe mode, without any sounds and no camera. Does anyone know the sony policy in this case? Anyone had this problem before me?

Xperia Z has more powerful processor and memory than sluggish 816 with average performance!
Xp Z camera is average, but 816 is better! Battery also poor for the Z, but performance is awesome!
Go for the Z as 816 is a phablet, i.e, too big!
