ila, 22 Jun 2014the customer service is really bad in india. my sony xperia... moreWell i agree with you , Customer service in India is not Good.....Feel pity for you.as your handset is New (Feb 2014) you are eligible to get a sealed replacement handset. the max it takes is 10 days from the date you submitted it in the service center.
BUT, if Sony finds out that its a physical damage at the charging point then you have to pay 50% of the value of phone. if you don't want to pay then you have to live with it.

ishu, 21 Jun 2014What is the solution for this ?? Possible scenarios
1.which ROM are you on? Stock or Custom?
because in Custom ROM's there is a feature to kill apps when back button is pressed long or for more than 2 secs.
2. if you are on Stock FW and still back button isn't responding , and if home and switch window soft touch keys are working then re flash FW.
3. based on your comments as heavy usage the phone heats up and the back key doesn't respond..then do the following...goto settings>APP >Running...
Check which process is actually consuming high memory..as far as i know Xperia Z wont lag unless the RAM utilization is beyond 1.7 GB(provided you play a heavy CPU intense game or have left multiple apps open )

My Xperia Z is 1yr 2months old now.On making calls not able to hear.Audio is heard only on connecting headphones/turning on the speakers.Walkman music can also be heard only via headphones connected.Sony service center diagnosed it to be water damage though I haven't put my phone in water even once.And they are charging 23000 INR to repair it,almost 75% of the phone cost.Has anyone come across this issue?? No lay man is mad to pay them 23000 for a silly repair.Totally frustrated.

ILook fir towelroot to root xperia z then download sdfix to enable write access to sdcard again!!!

the customer service is really bad in india. my sony xperia Z bought in feb 2014 for 30,000 Rs had a small problem in charging point. it has been deposited in service station for more than a month and still there is no news. its v frustrating because the service center person says I will get it "tomorrow" which never comes. customer service phone guy knows nothing and is not of any help. please never buy sony phones.
