advice, 24 Oct 2013i have the same problem with my brother's phone,before u ta... morelet ur brother try manual settings to adjust Z cam and plz don't spread lies just because u & ur brother don't know how to handle an advanced technology cam, it's only a normal comment from someone used samsung primitive plastic toy cam and options ..
it's not ur fault it;s sammy to blame

my brother is disappointed with the image quality of the xperia z,his galaxy s3 used to take better shots.

AnonD-153303, 23 Oct 2013to all plastic toy company fans aka sammy boys and any othe... moreofcourse you said it.. xperia z is best till now..my bro owns an apple 5 but its just average when comparing to xperia z,phone processing speed is really great.. picture clarity is the main thing i noticed really superb.. no words to say..in JB 4.1 u feel little heat when uses heavily.. but after after updation it will become normal..

chakri, 22 Oct 2013sony xperia z might be good in some aspects as of camera an... more1. It doesn't overheat when upgrade to 4.2.2.
2. Mine never got stuck or had a force close app since brand new.
The big problem is if you don't upgrade it the stock 4.1.2 firmware will make it overheat and if you let it continue with that then eventually the back glass cover will start to come loose in the upper corner nearest the camera. Its a quite serious problem too, since it compromises the water proofing.
Always use Xperia Z very carefully if you cannot upgrade it at once. Hopefully some newer batches already ship with 4.2.2 out of the box to avoid this.

AnonD-198417, 22 Oct 2013Even I love sony..but I faced problems with my last 2 sony ... morei'm sorry, i can't agree on you since you don't owned xperia z....... i don't have any problem with this phone regarding on its performance. regarding on samsung, i have nothing to say (my bad experience on their smartphone and tablet) since this is the forum for xperia z opinion. i started using xperia line up 2 years ago together with the other brand....from ion (almost 2 years), t (almost a year), z (7 months)and z1 (less than a month) my latest purchased. i have not encountered any problem with sony product regarding their screen (have't replace nor dead pixel), battery (have't replace and charge them almost everyday),camera,performance (except ion sometimes a little bit lag), software (except ion which was upgraded from ics to jelly bean last june 2013)and hardware. i hope sony is now seriousy upgrading or updating software to improve their product performance.

I heard no problems from any of my friends using Samsung..especially top end phones r giving awesome performance n quality..thats y still samsung in leading in the market..one cannot simply achieve anything great without quality or customer satisfaction..

And apple 4s camera is a fantastic one that you cannot compare with any other phones easily. It ll give u an outstanding result.
Im not clear abt ios 7 lagging issues. Last version of ios 6 is awesome anyway.
