If you are looking for great music and video, definitely go for the z. Mobile Bravia Engine 2 makes the photo viewing experience priceless, and Walkman is the most perfect music player I've ever seen. Heat issues: there are issues of overheating with the one. My z has never gone over 42 degrees. And mind you, that is after 3 hours of intense gaming. Many people like the basic android layout rather than blinkfeed, but HTC did not include a function to turn that off. Pretty frustrating. 4 MP camera takes better photos than any other phones in the market when there is low light, but that is not too practical for many people. The 4 mp camera creates tons of digital noise and blurry photos when zoomed in broad daylight, which is kinda sad for a beast.

I'm confusing Xperia Z's chipset, GSMARENA and Sony say Xperia Z is Qualcomm APQ8064+MDM9215M Quad Core.
But when I check Qualcomm snapdragon official website, I go look for smartphone, the smartphone got s4 s4active htc one, AND I FIND OUT XPERIA Z IS QUALCOMM SNAPDRAGON.
So, I was confusing which chipset it is??

But lsn once u get it follow the optemization steps exactly and never let ur battery die more than once in 10-15 days

It can help you in battery charging, when you charging open "Battery Doctor". It has 3 phase.
Phase 1 is call Normal Charging
Phase 2 is call Quick Charging
Phase 3 is call Trickle Charging
Finish those Charging Phase, I think will maintain your battery healthy.

if this method did't work then u got a hardware issue go to the sony service center they will mostly change ur unit

I have regret why I will buy a Nokia Smartphone, it waste my money at all, no android support, it's game is sucks! Compare with Xperia Z, Lumia won't stand for any chance against to Xperia Z.
1) Lumia's camera, cpu, chipset and other is lose to Xperia Z.
2) You won't feel comfortable when you using Windows 8, it difficult to handing it, and when you facing problem, you hard to find answer that about Nokia in Google. Android won't, you can find android answer whenever, wherever.
There, don't listen to this guy, you waste your money to buy Lumia.
Dun believe Lumia's drop test, I have saw a Hammer test on Xperia Z, although it's glass is cracked by the hammer, but it still work, of course you need to repair the glass.

Just tuning them into a good level that will satisfy you with a good battery life.

I had my Xperia Z a mont before.last week suddenly its completely dead.i even tried reboot by holding power + volume key .it just vibrates thrice but no reaction in screen.nothng displays..can i do anything more..any suggestion spls

Ive been using Xperia z for1 week and what struck is how fast it sucks up all the battery. Would have I known it would have been.a dealbreaker. Don't trust the alleged 11hours of communication. In less than 4hours of using it and even with energy saving settings, my battery is fully emptied.
Add to this a screen a bit too large even for big hands and connectivity issues, a screen always too bright in the dark, and you will be convinced not to buy a Sony again

I thought your blessed Samsung phones are so superior, so can't understand why there are so many trolls on here! The Xperia Z is perhaps one of the most beautiful phones ever, and a bit like the VW Golf its quality endures because it does everything so well.
