I have this problem about my xperia z now since yesterday when I switch it off because it started to become hot even though it was on standby.
I switch it on again but the problem started, it will just switch on with the sony, xperia and the colour animation on the screen then it will switch off again. And again it will switch on and off again...on and off again...
I don't know what to do but if someone here knows before I send it back to the shop, it will be a great help and I will really appreciate it guys!

i think so that galaxy s4 is better than xperia z in all matter i switch to s4 becoz of its amoled screen which the xperia z is of LCD screen.....and in battery s4 is better samsung is gurrantied phone............

I customised a Chinese 3g/2g tablet and I am very much satisfied with it and it has Adobe flash 11.1 and it goes for just $300. 1gb ram, 7 inch screen multi tourch/5 point, 16gb internal memory, 1.2ghz processor, dual core, 3100mAh battery, 5mega pixel back camera and 2mega pixel front camera, dual sim slot, supports external HDMI Port and plays 1080p videos, android 4.1.1 jelly bean. The price is good for its features, very cheap. I am done wasting/throwing away money to multi nationals. I am not happy with all these new mobile phone companies because their mobiles are so expensive with Adobe Flash been absent, stealing by trick.

satishh, 06 Jun 2013very best phone ,nice touchscreen ,good video quality,I use... moreI don't have an issue with battery life but recognise that it does drain when watching videos. In permanent stamina mode and get 2 days out of it, so long as I don't watch vids which means 1 day as opposed to 2 days battery life.

It's a great phone so far , but the battery drainage is so frustrating !! is there any fix to that or shall i replace my Z with note 2 as i know it's of a realiable and removable battery??

As much as I agree that the battery life has deteriorated in the new firmware, I'm happy that the hearing issue has been taken care of. I no longer feel like the phone is burning hot even with loads of browsing time

I promise u if ur the adventure or like wh. Buys a fone for his own rather than buying a fone so that u take care of it, ull be have happy with ur solid dust eating , H2O DRINging slab! You wont be disappointed not to mention its the snappiest fone I have used (yes I have used the s4). Hope u find what ur looking for ;)
