tft screen very bad . snapdragon processor with andereno 320 very poor performance . if u crash your phone from 2 met u r phone will brack from upp and down . and if u want to chang bettery at home it is very difficult . so i think not to buy this phone only thing is that it is water proof but not to strong . samsung phone are very stronger now a day s4 is so strong even from 5 met hight crash only some scrash are there so i tell u to buy s4 high end phone.

I have a Xperia Z and it does not have any charge problem. The battery lasts nearly two days of standard usage, or at least one full day and about %40 vharge. Anyways all 2013 android flagships have almost the same battery capacity (Xperia Z 2330 mAh, S4 2600 mAh etc).

Sony said buid # 434 released to avoid sudden battery death issues, but after upgrading to this ma Z battery getting drained very fast. build # 350 was fine.

AnonD-136694, 26 Apr 2013I think this mobile phone is the best out there right now. ... moreyou forget some useful and needed features that the s4 has and xperia has not,the s4 has better screen,better contrast ,better viewing angles and even more realistic colors,the s4 has better still and video camera,the s4 has good loudspeaker performance while the xz has weak speaker sound,the s4 has better battery life.
regarding your questions :
Q:can I survive a drop in the pool?
A:it depends on wither u can swim or not,water resistant phone will not help u to survive.
Q:Can it survive a 3meter fall?
A:the xperia z is water and dust resistant but not a shock resistant,so if u drop the xperia z and the s4 the chances of survival of the s4 are more because it has a lighter strong plastic body ,gorilla glass 3.

okay the phone is great and its epcifications are incredible but you didnt see something in the specs, one thing being this phone uses 2300mAh battery,which wouldnt last for a day probably becuase of its RAM and processor and a 5 inch display and the second thing is battery non detachable,wow that would be an inconvenience as if phone freezes or anything, removing battery beoomes necessary(lets hope it doesnt pose a problem) other than that phone design great and so r its epcs

I bought Z three weeks ago in Jakarta and everything running well. Sony Xperia Z is a Nice Smartphone and performance.

I think this mobile phone is the best out there right now. I know there are a lot of fans behind Samsung's Galaxy S4, but the thing is, this Xperia Z has more useful and needed features than the Galaxy S4. Eg.The S4 has smart scroll, smart pause and smart stay which are all fancy yes, but can I survive a drop in the pool? Can it survive a 3meter fall? No, but the Xperia Z most definately can so which features would you consider better?

I played all of my Full HD videos on SONY Xperia Z~
And all smooth like butter...

That is due to the uncovered area of the speakers so it has to be dry to function again since the water is blocking the sound waves. However, headphones are perfectly fine if you wish to hear good while waiting for the recovery of the speakers.
