Have you seen t... moreas u might know gorilla glass is a scratch resistant and not break resistant ,so these drop tests depends on which part of the phone has touched the ground first ,in your video when both phones fell from the car,the iphone fell and rolled on its sides,while s3 fell on the screen surface which is the most dangerous fall,we might need to see the iphone 4s drop on the screen surface so we can give final judgment.
the gorilla glass is very thin but yet it is the most resistant to scratches ,and in the same time it is shatter proof (like the car glass)so it does not need an obligatory screen protector on the top of it.
the icons appear as if it was printed on the screen when using the gorilla glass and that is why viewing angles are great,also u still have the choice to use screen protector or not.
sony forces the users to leave the screen protector in its place,it is difficult to remove and had sony logo printed on it,the screen protector is easily scratchable and in few months u start to wish if u can just remove it.
sony could use a normal glass and no need to scratch resistant one because u have to keep the obligatory scratchable screen protector??!?!?!?!?!?!?
by the way i am using xperia phone with the scratched screen protector so i know exactly what i am talking about.
i am not a fan boy for any company,my next phone might be htc one or the s4.

Apache, 26 Apr 2013I think its because of Iphone hav only one button,and so,to... morexperia z has 3 buttons: power/standby, volume up, and volume down. The iphone also has more than one button the power/lock, home, volume up, volume down and it also has mute switch.

No doubt that the "Shatter-proof sheet" also helps to give a little durability to SONY Xperia Z's Dragontrail Glass~
But please bare in mind that Dragontrail Glass itself is more durable than Gorilla Glass without the Shatter-proof sheet...
Can you please go and check the usage of Shatter-proof sheet~
Let me explain to you...
Shatter-proof sheet doesn't mean "keeping the glass and making it don't break"~
You are getting it wrong...
Do you know that what is the term for "glass broken into small tiny pieces"?
It's called SHATTERING~
Shatter-proof sheet's main function is not strengthen the glass...
It's keeping the broken pieces intact to the phone after the incident happened~
This tech is first used on car window to keep driver safety when thieves smash the window...
SONY care for users safety~
The durable glass pieces might bounce out and hurt people if it happened to break...
The layer of shatter-proof sheet will keep glass pieces intact to the phone~

This seemed that Sammy glass is not durable enough~

I agree with you even the fastest processor in this ... morei don't own gs 3 but my friends usually give their phones to me for rooting ,downloading apps ,changing kernels and roms.
in the units i've used (jelly bean 4.1.1-4.1.2)i didn't meet any lag when opening the keypad or the virtual keyboard may be these issue were in early firmwares.
regarding the comparison of the built quality ,samsung is known for using plastic,which is cheaper than metal or the glass,a lot of people wish that s3 or s4 is built of metal.
sony and htc designs are better than samsung.
wave phones may be the exclusion.
but for me the visible phone parts are the body and the screen,samsung uses lower quality material than sony in building phone body but uses higher quality glass for protecting the screen that does not need obligatory scratchable scatter proof screen protector to protect the glass like the one sony uses?!!!??

I think Celcom already launched 4G LTE coverage in WM~
Because Maxis already have 4G LTE coverage here in KL area...

Even go in the dialer keypad also lag consider not serious?

Battery is good ! .. my daily usage is at a minimum of 4 hours talk, 2 hours game, 24 hrs 3G - fb wtsap and gtalk always running in the background, Mailsync too.music most of the time but vedios less as compared to other activities.. i make it 100 % every morning.. while I back from work in the night around 10 it still runs with 10-15 %.. i think it's giving good backup...

I was cribbin about battery!!!!! for some reason my phone showing 58% battery at 6pm otherwise it used to down and out by 4pm!!!!!! moral of the story: I feel personally to let the phone die everytime and then charging is worst idea! I kept doing it and was heartbroken seeing its battery die so soon. so guys charge the phone once it drops below 15% for four five cycles and maybe once in a week let it die completely is better! really. this has helped me!!!! any suggestion welcomed

Just go and buy S4 if you have the money..... moreevery android phone is susceptible for lagging,even the xperia z,lag usually occur when run a lot of apps in the same time that eat the available ram,lag also occur when u install incompatible apps.
the s3 is the best phone of 2012 ,and it would not accomplish that if it was laggy as u r claiming.
there are more than 50 million people bought the s3 so naturally u will find a lot of result about s3 in google search,some complaints were written buy people who does not about the ram and incompatible apps in android os.
although the s3 is one year old now but still its 8mp camera produces better images than the xperia z 13 mp,the s3 has excellent loud speaker performance compared to the poor xz loudspeaker,the s3 has better battery life for video playback.
regarding the octa core of the s4 it seems that u didn't understand how it work,u r thinking that one quad for processing and the other for power management which completely wrong ,the correct thing is that the faster quad will be used when there is a need for fast processing power like gaming ,playing full hd movies..etc ,other wise the lower speed processor will work ,so u will get the best battery life.

As per my mind, this phone is king of phone. And it has a BRAVIA engine version 2 display. The clarity is, nothing like this..hence feel like watching BRAVIA TV. The background sharpners are very good for picture and video playback. My Kid thew this phone in the water, I feel bad but, its working like anything.
ITS A VERY WORTHY DEVICE, I LOVE IT!!!!!
