Okay, just taken delivery of the Xperia Z (C6603) and downloaded the latest firmware before starting to configure the phone. A time consuming task I don’t look forward to but now here's a funny thing. The first job I attempted to do was to set up the Wi-Fi connection to my wireless router at home... and this is when it all went wrong. Just like many people, I have my wireless router set so it doesn’t broadcast its SSID to every potential hacker in the neighbourhood. Unfortunately it turns out Sony decided not to make this phone compatible with hidden SSID’s. Yes, that’s right - the only smart phone in the top ten list that I can’t use at home, or my friends, or anywhere else where a Wi-Fi connection is set not to broadcast its SSID - unbelievable... and from Sony of all organisations!

I just went to a store and touched the Xperia Z . . .
AMAZING!!! SOO SOLID AND LUXURIOUSLY THIN AND HEAVY
no more cheap plastic phones

All smartphones are meant to drain batteries in a couple of hours due to heavy usage...
Have you think of why there are Portable Chargers (aka Power Banks) in this world since smartphones came out?
If u are not satisfied with it~
Don't use a smartphone...==

Excellent Camera and HD video
Battery is fine as long as you know how you optimise it
Music player is the best, the sounds really kicks in.

THIS PHONE IS AMAZING!!!
picture quality when watching movies is unparralled
i like the sharp edges on the phone and the size is just right for me, sounds great. the mirror finish is a smexy touch.

Sony should make gorgeous xperia z smaller.Exactly what they did to xperia arc & gifted us xperia ray.

sony fom past 8 yrs..it he com up wid latest software n updates...so Sony's Z is simply the excellence ..

Don't forget people are paid to write good things about fones..This fone is sharp and uncomfortable in the hand,lacklustre screen,poor battery ,poor cam muffled speaker ...Sony are always that bit behind or don't quite get it right..I have sent this back through Amazon I am not keeping this I wish battery could be replaced it would solve one problem..I have tried it and its not for me but as we all know the best smartfone in the world is the one YOU like and suites YOU.

ya the phone is undoubtely fantastic in looks.I have ben using it from 4 days.first of all getting hot doesnt seem that problamatic...!!
music output(both in speakers as well as ear phones) is a bit low and camera clarity is ok..!!
overall the device is satisfactory..
not required to go with the boring samsung design..with change in the model names..!!
