AnonD-48321, 26 Mar 2013100% true .For those who talk about TFT on XZ, Dont u think that sony has world class engineers or if u may think even if sony doesn't have good engineers to work on it and who build the phone, do u guys think that they were hired just like that to give poor quality ?? Well i don't think even GSM arena Glossary says TFT is the best screen out there and especially to match it with bravia 2 engine and a quality built by Sony is unmatched, i don't care what peope who dont have knowledge just shit here about the screen but let me tell u if u are the one who asses screen then u should be an engineer somewhere..plz dont shit here about the quality product like XZ..it rules and is sittion on a throne.

Tested this phone today at a phone store.
-Good-
Design
Water/dust proof
Great sound when using headset with clear audio+ on
-Bad-
Average screen (TFT)
Colours are a little bit washed out, blacks are greyish, but ok for average users
Outdated chip (S4 Pro)
Loud speaker
Not many features
Camera is average, I noticed some of the pics taken from camera were a little pixilated especially when zooming in
Bravia engine only works in photo/video gallery
Too big, well for me anyway
Hard to open the flaps
Thats my opinion about this phone so far

confused which one to buy
samsung s4 - awesome features but looks cheap quality plastic
htc - i dont know why but i dont like htc
iphone - just an over hyped phone
bb z10 - only reason its has its own network and its bb 10 os is very powerful
sony xperia z - overall a good phone

Htc got the worst batteries ever! Definitely z got better battery and camera! Htc beats audio is just a marketing crap! Headphones sound is surly better in z! Loud speaker I agree htc better...

TFT is just a type of LCD, IPS is a type of TFT. It is just the description difference.
You have two screen types in phones today, LCD or OLED, that is it.
