I am surprised that iPhone 5 is using sony sensor and has a decent camera but this one is just bad. I guess there are so many other important things than just a sensor.

No other smartphone has better low light shots and video recording than it. Yes PA compared Sony Xperia Z against the three best camera smartphone cameras out there Nokia Pureview 808, Nokia N8, and Nokia Lumia 920. Xperia Z didn't do good at all.

Got this phone yesterday i've been playing with it since then...
My observations
Everything is perfect battery timing, design, smoothness,display etc
But the camera Suxx..... its not 13 not even 8 mp .. may be 5

The truth is I planned to buy one s, but I waited too long that when it came to my country it's already considered as ordinary phone. Then recently the news came saying HTC cant supply the the major targeted countries for their market.
I already saw Xperia z in some stores here. Btw I'm in Philippines. When the new HTC will arrive here, it will suffer the same fate that of the one s. HTC is a beautiful brand but marketing strategy is not as good.

One of my friend recently bought this phone and he said this phone overall good but not the best. Because except water resistance theirs is no any really cool features in this phone. Battery life is ok, display is ok but not so good and camera also there is nothing new feature also he said video quality is excellent but photos are horrible ( wrong colours and low details). However phone is worthy but he said If you buy a phone you should better to try HTC One.

Xperia z for the win. HTC one is in coma, nokia os is dead, lg g pro too big , s4 is plastic(stick to s3), bb is missing in action, china phone?.
battery test is out, xz is not on top on all aspect but impressive on the overall plus premium built. Where are the haters?

Until Nokia fixes the color reproduction on the 920 it cannot be considered as a high end contender, it can only beat nexus 4 and other LG Phones.

Sony Xperia Z has a terrible camera. From the comparisons, it can't beat Lumia 920 in daylight, low light shots, and video recording.

If Z had a 3000mah battery, with the stamina mode,70mm width 'twill be the most practical phone on earth even if its 10mm thick. Btw, I stopped using smartphone sine 2012 because of POOR BATTERY LIFE.

I been testing this MyXperia service on the Z, it is Sony's Orem service to find lost phones, and it works well and is very fast and easy to use compared to the similar Htc and Samsung. With Samsung it takes so long to set up since you have to register a Samsung account and other bloat. Sony made it simple and nice, activating it takes seconds, and then only need to log in to MyXperia with your google account to find your phone and that's it.
This service is still beta and only available for the Nordic countries. It will work anywhere in the world but your Sony must be bought from Norway Sweden Denmark Finland or Iceland. Rest of the world wool follow soon I am sure. It works.

I have the White Xperia Z and am yet to expend the battery in one day, it usually lasts me 2 days. Today been sending lots of texts, phone calls and 90 minutes of Angry Birds which is a big battery drainer and still have 25% at 11pm.

Note2 has some good qualities but it's lame compared to the Z. Most phones are lame compared to this.

Terrible washed out screen
Poor viewing angles
Amateur ergonomics
No SD card
Non removable battery
Mediocre battery life
No wireless charging
No dedicated camera button
Super expensive
Fragile glass back
2012 processor tech
Missing anything?
Sony is so obsolete in today's tech world. Wonder how much longer they will hang around...

So light and easy to hold, not like the slippery rounded sides of note 2. I'm surprised how big difference it is. And the display of Z is just wow, so clear and sharp and no annoying yellow and blue when white background, which is a big problem on note 2.
