i used to have samsung s3 and i enjoyed it so much.it was the best phone to me.until one day i had an accident at the beach.my s3 soaked in the seawater and couldnt be repaired.sometimes these things happened you couldnt do much about it.i wished i had a phone as good as s3 but could withstand water immersion.sony experia z really does the job. now i can enjoy active outdoor lifestlye without having to worry about phone so much.

...Full HD.??.we are not watching a TV ..we are looking at the hp screen with a mere 5" which make watching soccer like see ants running chasing round bits.....most brands claiming Full HD or HD quality but when you compare ,the different is not like a zealous "WOW !!!"...but a weak "huh".
The best Sony Design is still Xperia S if compare to this.

Sony still struggling to beat galaxy S3 in 2013. Is it true that Bravia engine doesnt support while viewing web pages ? Poor audio quality for skype ??

the screen will look washed out only if you keep the wallpaper that comes with the handset! I was really scared at the begining then when I changed the the wallpaper it looks fantastic ( grey colors will make it look wash out)...

At least he's honest about how he can last 10 hours of screen-on time. You just need to keep telling yourself that the Note II sucks battery fast. And he gave the XZ a 6-hour screen-on time rating. This is probably 50% brightness. And then some report 4-5 hours of XZ screen usage, like Engadget.
No, I will not defend the Note II's color clipping in dark video scenes. There is clipping but not but not as bad as the pentile screen of the Note I. i just love the punchy eligibility against the daylight.
Given the screen of the XZ is full HD, giving you good privacy angles as some would like, waterproofed and thin - this will sell in millions with how popular it is in ratings. Yes, well worth your $993.

As for screen, Z has two different screens , it seems... Like Japanese version has an awesome screen, I heard... So screen problem will be resolved pretty soon... In cam, One will get its ASS kicked by Z... Look out on internet for Z cam review from various sites... They're praising Z's cam... Even in blunty's review on youtube, Z broke ip-5 in night shoot & tied with it in day shoot... So one has nothing on Z... Z also has wonderful feature called water-proofing... So one is "nothing" compared to Z.. Go for it...!!!

"The 300+ ppi screens of last year's flagships are pretty close to the limit, but the update to 400+ ppi isn't about individual pixels - even though it's pretty hard to see jagged edges on them, the 400+ ppi screens just look smoother. It's a subtle difference, but it's there. The difference between 441ppi and 469ppi on the other hand is not noticeable.
But there's more to the Super LCD3 screen on the One. HTC have been putting out some excellent screens recently and this one isn't an exception. The viewing angles are great, there's no shift in colors and only a slight contrast shift at extreme angles"
And a while lot more higher specs than the XZ. Makes you think why some actually spent almost $1K for the XZ.

However part of the screen will remain fully
functional when z is used as the appearance
of videos, pictures and the camera mode...
When compared to some mobile phone with little bits smaller screens dimensions than this
but have approximately the same size body.
that's smart sony...
