Over 2 million hit and the phone isn't even released yet. Sony is doing itsrlf a nice deal whit this phone.

So they all put all their features into 1 product. And besides true to what grimlock post they are not gud in financial so they do a conservative aproach. 2 phone release. One with waterprof and another without. If they take a risk they should do 1 phone only. Inovation feature needs to market separately to test the market if consumers can acept it.

I would not touch a Samsung after my experiences with the S3, poor build quality, poor customer service, plasticky insubstantial phone. If that is your choice good for you but I would not touch the S4 even if it wakes you up, makes the coffee and butters your toast! Got it...?

I really though that this would be the phone to end all phones. But as soon as it's spec sheet was officially, I was more than a bit disappointed.
It all just seemed like, "Make believe". A fairy tale at best.

And it doesn't matter how many companies Sony owns. When the parent company is in trouble, they all suffer as a whole. The last I read, Sony is in the red. And they seem to be having a hell of a time getting out of it.
As long as they continue to make risky business decisions, the quicksands of bankruptcy will continue to pull them under.

When it comes to buying a Smart phone, camera is the very last thing I look at. The camera isn't that important to me. I'm not a photographer and I don't take lost of pictures.
On top of that, if I did want a camera for dedicated picture taking and photography, there are better ones out there, such as Canon and Nikon.
Cameras on phones, just like video recording and mp3 players, are company use Sony sensors. Cameras the very last thing I look at when deciding to buy a smart phone. I am not a photographer nor do I take lots of pictures. So a camera in a phone is just a bonus for me. Same thing with video recording and mp3 players on phones.
But if I did want to buy a camera for photography and dedicated picture taking, there are out there than Sony. Such as, Canon and Nikon.
The camera is actually the only thing the Z has going for it. That and Dust/water resistance. Sony could have done better.
