Why are we even talking about a phone which has no official word yet and you say it's gonna blow away z for good? Get real Sammy lovers! Come back and comment here when comes out for REAL, you know what I am saying right?
And btw z is far better than s3 in all ways. If not tell me if s3 has something cooler that the z apart from that eye tracking crap cause I am better off locking the screen!

The positive point is the phone is giving hd display with one of the best camera and design for which sony is popular but unfortunately as the phone is launched in 2013 so its processor and gpu is not upto the mark and this will put this smartphone back because s4 will release and some more giant phone will release an definitely people will w8 for them

HELLOO S3 admirers, a quick question
"WHY SPEND TIME ON A SONY FLAGSHIP DEVICE'S PAGE ?"
talk about S3 / S4 on their respective pages,
ah wait, does S4 even have one?
S3 is now outdated ..someday xperia z would be too
BUT FOR NOW, its a beast !!
no excessive plastic, still a better battery,
gorgeous screen, water/dust resistant
and a camera to drool for !
Its a Rock, not some pebble inspired pebble !
oh hold on, what about Google-Motorola X-Phone ?
Got a pill to spill on that ?
..come on people devices come out every now and then
buy them, or remain speculating..

Sony's new phone naming convention seems to have some resemblance to Sony VAIO laptop names.
Xperia Z corresponding to Sony's top of the line VAIO Z series.
Xperia T to high-end VAIO T Series.
Xperia S to VAIO S Series.
Xperia E to cheap economical VAIO E series.
But, don't have any idea about other models.
It's just some coincidence or a strategy by Sony to streamline its products.
Whatever, SONY is doing great at present and I wish the company to be at the top again.

Mobilemaster, 17 Jan 2013You're just talking as a fool, and don't know what the Gala... moredon't you know why sony doesn't use Siri like program? because it is not a copycat like samsung. about the Smart Stay you must now that this is a android feature which can be now downloaded for every android phone that can support it and Z is not an exception. now tell me, why Sammy can't innovate a feature like Stamina mode? and why it doesn't produce water resistant devices? let me answer you myself. because Sammy CAN'T do so. maybe in near future it can copy Sony.

This phone has a Siri like feature as the Galaxy S3??? The answer is NO! I admit S Voice it's not as good as Siri, but at least Samsung introduced that on their high-end phone. When Sony will introduce such a thing? The Galaxy S3 also has Eye Tracking, which this one lacks. The Galaxy S3 also has a Direct call feature, this one has that?? The Galaxy S3 has a camera app shortcut as well(so there is no usage of button). These are a few of the things the Galaxy S3 can do.

You should wait till it will be announced. Anyway, even the Galaxy S3 can do more than this. OK, this one is waterproof and looks better, but specs wise the Galaxy S3 it's better, and maybe the Galaxy S4 will be waterproof as well.

First Sony product in over a decade that made me really excited. I might even choose it over Samsung... Funny just 15 years ago comapring those two firms would sound really silly.
