Samsung is always better when it's about battery life! So the 8 cores are about battery life! Their phones are made of cheap plastic, but there is a reason for that too, and at least Samsung phones have a better battery life than Sony. I am sure the battery life of the Galaxy S4 will be much more than the one on the Xperia Z. People these days wants a phone which HAS a good battery life.

Come on, it should be something like that if it has a dust and water proof spec. As we can't put an ordinary scratch resistance glass and say it is dust and water proof.

Huge phone.. But shouldn't it be bigger then 1080p to display 1080p apps? Else the apps /games is not true 1080p right?.. because the soft-key eats up part of the app space..

Of course,Sony Xperia z is the best smartphone that currently exits.it's way better than Samsung galaxy s3 and apple iPhone 5.but Sony must quickly have to launch a successor of Xperia z to complete with next iPhone and Samsung galaxy s4.

The xperia active is the most durable smartphone I have ever seen anything more durable is usually not a smartphone and it uses dragontrail glass. Why would sony use anything els knowing they already have a winner also knowing that this is there first all glass phone As Sony and not SE. I have had Sony ericssons since since 2004 and I have never once had to replace a screen or glass panel my x10i has fallen over 100 times in 3 years (not exagerating it's white so im always losing it between the sheets easiest way to find it is usually to air the sheets out resulting in my phone flying across the room )and not one repair unlike friends with iphones and galaxy's.
