to say that... moreWell, an iphone can last 10 hours with the display on, thats impossible with Z1 and you know it.
I hate to repeat myself, even you know its true that Z1 battery is good only for standby and calls you still oppose my post. Thats called bias.

to say that the iphone has a better battery life than the Z1 is just nonsense...do your research better instead of spreading false info...buy both phones and only after that you can say to people things like this...iphone is nowhere near the Z1 in terms of battery,build,camera,cpu,screen and so on...

thnxx for sug... morei think you been ill advised. Its true that iPhones dont have good battery but still better than Z1, which is good only with display off, that means Z1 is good for standby and for calls, both of which are not very important.
Now turn display on, do some texting and light tasks and watch Z1 battery drain in record time, thats what people really mean when they say Z1 is the fastest phone in the world.
So if anyone tells you to buy Z1 because iphone has bad battery you been downright lied to. Do yourself a favor and wait for Xperia Z2.

For all those who are facing problems after kitkat update....just do a restart by pressing power button and volume up key..... It helped me sort out the issues like camera slow performance, heating issues, loudspeaker issues,lag and stability.... After restart all sort out now.... And always check the box (help us improve by sending anonymous data to improve performance)... Trust me and do dis.... All is well :)

The camera app also seems slower when taking a picture, and I really dislike the new "quick settings" on the notification bar. Also, I don't like the notification bar being transparent. I want Jelly Bean back!

Anyone in the Philippines whose z1 is SMART LOCK and already updated to 4.4 kitkat via Sony PC Companion? My z1 is smart lock and running android 4.2 , when i connect it to pc and sony pc companion it says that my z1 is up to date even though im in android 4.2.2 and 4.4 kitkat is already released in the philippines. Thanx.

this is the "great" update that Sony gave us for the Z1...for me and for others this is a beta software and we are the lab rats...
instead of improving the phone the update to kitkat made the experience and battery life miserable..

The power consumption has increased a lot, and battery life reduced since the latest kitkat update. The phone isn't even able to charge anymore while connected to the computer through USB. How can I undo this kitkat update? I have already reset all to original factory setting, but it hasn't solved the power consumption.

In generally i perfer Z1 in these three but in modern phone of these day, I like samsung note3 as near perfect phone.
