james, 31 Jan 2014Hi, I must agree with you, but in time I realized 4.3"... morePrice is absolutely not bad, just above 400 Euro in Switzerland (500 Swiss Franc), that is amazingly low if you ask me. Now, it cost a lot more in Germany and GB but those price examples may just be temporary overpricing by vendors with a limited number of units available wanting to make extra money on early adopters. Expect prices to be nearer the Swiss level once availability is higher.

But, compa... moreHi, I must agree with you, but in time I realized 4.3" is not too bad, I myself I was waiting so long for the SX to be released outside Japan, but it never happened. I have a good idea how big the Z1C is because I was using the xperia S for a while, so almost same dimensions, nevertheless the Z1C this will be my next phone. Right now (no wonder, just released) the price is too high. Greetings.

Yes I agree its almost the same price as the original Sony Xperia Z1, but think about it this way, it would be more expensive to fit in all the specs (cores, camera, rams etc...) of the Z1 into a smaller phone; not to mention harder. Its the same with watches, the slimmer it gets, the more expensive.

but one thing,
in my Nokia N8 HD videos are more sharper than SD videos.
N8 have only SD resolution screen. with very low ppi

Its in effect in most stores around my place now and it totally changes everything, Z is now priced lower than Sonys suggested retail price of Xperia SP launch. Thats really cheap for a marvel like the Xperia Z, and thats why Z1C could end up with a price closer to Z1 anyway.

Viwa, 29 Jan 2014thanx...u r right, i didn't explore...then i will go for Z1c...I want to add that my experience from 10 months with Xperia Z is that newer Xperias dont need stamina mode, i could stay out all day with active HSPA connection and stamina mode OFF and didnt have any problem with battery for that reason. The problem is when using the phone with display on, that was the weakness of Z and Z1 and it has been rectified with the new energy efficient display of Z1C.
Look at the battery test of Z1C, thats also with stamina mode turned off, its gonna last a day of heavy usage so easily, no problem at all.
