The human eye has a resolution of approximately 0.35 arc minutes, apples retina definition corresponds to around 1 arc minute (lower is better). Which means that pixel density need to be 3 times higher to match the resolution of the human eye, 0.35 arc minutes corresponds to around 900 ppi at 10 inch viewing distance.
Apple Retina is for people with 20/20 vision, a person with normal eyesight will not have that much degraded vision before nearing 70 years old. 20/20 is actually poor vision, i dont care how many ppi i need when i am 70 years old, i need a phone now. However, im willing to admit that 340 ppi is "not bad", good enough, for now, but for Z2 Compact later this year i want that 4.5 inch Full HD display.

Looks great in comparison to current offerings.
But, compared to Sony Xperia SX SO-05D from 2012, this thing is massive. Still waiting...
At the time, the SX SO-05D was a top spec Android phone the world was waiting to get out of Japan. I'm sure Sony can still do better.
Make a Z1 compact mini with 3.7-4inch screen, 8 or 12MP camera that is slimmer than 60mm wide and around the 100gram weight, with all the other specs the Z1 compact has and that would be worthy of buying.

There is no need for the internal storage to be higher. It has expandable storage with SD card up to 64GB!!!

The specs are not good enough rather, should have been Full HD and 32GB internal storage but i take it anyway since it is the best there is.

Downgrade the spec for ___'s sake. The spec is way too overkill, and 520 EUR price (Sweden's) = 8.6 million IDR.
Z1s is 8.5 million IDR here.
The spec is just like killing a mosquito with bazooka.

Surprisingly someone with Note3!!!!
& says its drawback is its display size !!!
(although it is capable to be compared with specifications )
Friends, it is "mobile" phone.
With perfect size
Compare it with iphones, GS4mini, HTC ONEmini, ...etc
& let me know is there a phone exists like Z1 c
It is so sad, that some one had quoted about its speaker volume. maybe due to high IPX rating.
ZR also has lower volume.

Xperia Z, Z1s & Z1 compact & many other sony models as well, has got the function of "Stamina Mode" to increase the battery life, but the draw back of stamina mode is when the screen backlight is off the internet 2G/3G also stops working to save the battery, which stops receiving any notifications related to FB, whatsapp, messenger. You will not come to know when you received those unless & until you unlock & turn on your backlight. Does anyone face this problem...? I used the Sony Xperia Z before & afterwards gave it to my friend, always faced that problem...isn't it a major draw back...?
