This, in my opinion, is a noteworthy mobile phone. I would prefer Gorilla Glass with a coating instead of the Dragon Glass with a scratch prone screen protector--but maybe I can live with it.

The Z1 Compact has a superbly lightning Snapdragon 800 CPU, 3Gb of RAM and 20Mp camera, the iphne doesnt have have the shit of this yet not waterproof. The Sony Z1 Compact is truly solid and rugged. Don't pay more than what you should for a smartphone. Aluminium is not gold or silver, need not pay an arm and a leg like 70k for it. Go for the Z1 Compact. It's an all rounder.

Igot this beast testerday the xperia z1 compact and did some benchmark test on both antutu there it scord 34935 and on quadrant over 21000 which is very impressiv white balance is also onbord the overall performence is excellent

Internally both are the same in terms of processor, camera, ram etc. I would suggest Z1 Compact. It is traditional phone size which has everything that is in flagships today if not better

since iphone 5s costs 70k where even xperia z1 costs only 35k, so z1 compact will be around 32k...after z1 compact release in india, no one will buy iphone here....

Which 1 do u think better 1...Z1s has got 5"screen, 32GB memory plus expandable & 3000 mAh battery..where as Z1 compact has got 4.3"screen, 16GB plus expandable & 2300 mAh battery...i m confused for which one should i go for...? Any suggestions...

great connectivity, better cam,better battery life,better homescreen ui, better audio quality, equal and better display in some aspects, almost equal gph and gpu power wid minimum compromising, better memory options,watter proof and so on,..I dnt want to compromise to buy a 5s for fingerprint scrape.poor battery life vs z1c .almost a reasonable price tag!!

The "Hub" is excellent. I am not the type of mobile gamer so I am keeping it but for my wife I am looking at Xperia Z1 compact. It looks promising, I hope the price is right and it arrives on time before our special day.

BB Z10 is cheap but poor battery and those gestures are not efficient, the UX is a bit poor, at least thats my impression of it.

I used to have z and then switched to z1 but as it felt bulky I again switched to lighter device BlackBerry z10 but I missed the ruggedness of Sony z's I hope z1 compact will be the best for me. Hope it's available in india soon.
If available please let me know where.

skan, 27 Jan 2014Xperia Z1 Compact is much faster, has more battery, and muc... moreI would not say Z1C is faster than 5S, for example for taking photos the 5S is much faster, and the light OS footprint can make things feel faster/more fluid on iOS due to how things are done. Android is a true multitasking OS and does not suspend other tasks to give you max fluidity under all circumstances, whereas iOS suspends most tasks as soon as your finger touches the screen, it gives a total and absolute priority to input, webpages will even stop loading/rendering, all resources are being diverted to give you an impression of responsiveness and smoothness.
