Very well built. Finally a smaller android phone with grt specs. Love the sony UI. Very beautiful simple plain and fluid.

AnonD-148628, 08 Jan 2014exact same question!!So Z1C has IPS which is also a type of TFT panel? Hahaha. Still a bit confused with these panels but one this is for sure - the Z1C's screen is great. Finally Sony has decided to release IPS on their international version. Happy for Sony.
I really hope this will get a lot of attention from non-Xperia users and a lot of critics. And hope that this will sell very well in the market. As the phone looks perfect. :)

Xperia Z and Z1 are good phones but too big for me (5 inch). I'm glad that I waited to the Xperia Z1 Compact (4,3 inch) and last but not least ---> IPS technology. juhuhuuuu. :)

dx user, 08 Jan 2014Bezel still too big, screen size actually just 4" Hmmmm....4.3", a large camera sensor, mind you,and this is water resistant..you cant have water resistance and small bezels at the same time..or at least not yet.

Why is it that everyone heres tryna outsmart each other? Lol! Some people just have a lot of complaints and can never be contended..

This phone has the potential to become a big hit in 2014 (like the HTC one) because it has top HW specs, perfect size for one hand usage, NFC, wireless charging, big battery, expandable memory, good screen res for 4.3 inches, waterproofing and one killer feature that no one matches today: 20mpx camera with hardware shutter button AT THE SIZE OF A COMPACT Point-and-shoot CAMERA!!! Unfortunately, usually SONY phones are too expensive and that will kill market share. I hope this changes...

Finally! Another Sony I can look forward to. This is what mini, compact and mid range smartphones should be. Reduced size but not the software and hardware specs, including the camera. Yeah!

Hi,dear friends.Happy to see that the Sony onece again has found itself!Amazing to see: Rising and upgrdading from jelybean to kit kit 4.4.2 at the same time!Z compact design,features,and performance are almost excellent!Works with 2g,3g,and4g-good cpu,gps,ultera excellent cameras(no more fron vga),acceptable4.2inches screen,and the rest of qualities are premimum!I consider it as a high mid-range premium smartphone!I think we have to see the gsm knowledgeable expertly written review to compare mine with them!?For sure they have more apps and labs for the assessment!One thing as the change (no more vga)in vga in this smartphone is evident!Smart sony reads news,views,opinions,comments and reports of GSM carefully,repects them and actually makes the innovations and the changes smartly!The other premium character of sony is ,it,s honest with costumers and doesn,t need to bribe fake social networks to support it,to say bad is good!Sony itself makes the right changes!I hope to see better like Zs, plus thanks gsm!Al

The whol... morehey, that is my opinion.. i dont have xperia z1, but i wait for z1 compact because of its small screen, the rumor said the price is about $580 and xperia z1 is about $570.. so i will buy z1 because the price isn't too different.
