the camera of Z1 COMPACT is superb.taking snaps with right technique is a tallent.and do not take snaps with auto superior mode in low light.its only work good in day light.in low light always use manual mode at 20.7 mega pixel.so enjoy taking snaps with right technique.do not blame sony

I am confused between choosing GS4 or Z1 Compact.
I really prefer Z1 Compact due to its size, but Ill definitely use a FLIP COVER.
GS4 has S-view cover which doesnt make its size much bigger, but Z1 doesnt have such an option, so when i use a Flip cover to Z1, will its size become equal to GS4?

We have an iPad Air and what i like about iOS is that its clean with no bloat and has no stuff you dont need, its the opposite of Android. Everytime i get a new android device i have to spend lots of time removing and disabling all the crap, like Google Now, Hangouts, Google+, and many OEM apps and their useless "features". All this takes time and the space cannot be freed up, they can only be disabled. On iOS its the other way around, you even have to install YouTube yourself, some people dont need or want YouTube and Apple is the only one who understand that.
After that there is nothing i wanna change, maybe move a few icons around and so on but going crazy downloading themes and crap is not an option. Im sure most people can see how customization is a two edged sword, it can damage both the one in front of and the one behind the sword. Of course, iOS has severe limitations and lacks true multitasking, plenty disadvantages, maybe more so than Android, depends on the user.

try out the camera for dim light shots. surprisingly updated kitkat really boost the night scene. however, a lil bit of over exposed when fill flash is on. SONY kindly keep and maintain an update for your Z1C as you are right now the only one producing 20.7mp. do not simply let go your dignity. let your r&d amaze the mobile world with unbeatable updates out thr!

Been using this phone for more than a month. Firstly, the size is just right for me - not too big that it can't fit in my pocket & not too small that it is difficult to use the touchscreen. Fast processing with generous RAM and internal memory. Take sharp images and good even in low light.
The water proof feature is definitely a plus point for me as I do not worry taking it everywhere and doing outdoor sport. Overall, a good powerpacked phone.

Im very disapponited with this mobile, in my case in 5 days I got dead pixel and from the beginning of use there is flash bleeding. And of course no warranty on that.

I have used Galaxy S2, S3 and S4 and then first time I bought iPhone5 in September last year. After using iPhone I felt the difference. If you compare the hardware of both the phones and performance then you can feel the difference. It is no doubt Z1 Compact design is so attractive but due to Android it worths nothing. You should try iPhone5 or 5s somewhere on Apple shop display or from some friend if someone uses it then you will see the difference.

Using this phone for one week and I just feel this is the best waterproof smartphone in market right now. The display, speed and sound is just nice and the size just fit a palm. Well done Sony.
