Trust me, z2 is too heavy, i have use that for a month, and i ditch it, everything is good, specs are good, just it is too harsh for one hand operation (even i have a above average size hand).
Trust me, size does matter for your daily life, it's even smaller than iphone 6 almost 1cm shorter, i will buy Z3 compact very soon =)

Now that I have seen some Youtube Videos of Z3 C and asked a few owners it seems the volume of the speakers is higher than the Review Specs.
Maybe a pre production Z3 C was measured in GSM Review and the actual production Models are better ?
Either way, the Z3 C volume of speakers seems to be very good , so will not be a problem if I buy one.
Your point about Headphones volume is well taken, I think manufacturers keep volume lower to protect Hearing, but volume seems to depend on which headphones, some report loud volume, some say lower.
Speakers on Z3C are said to be about like Z2 was, good volume ,not as full as HTC ONE M 8.

I am a fan of the features I need.
Iphone 6 has a lot of great features and so does
Z3 Compact.
For me the Z3 C wins for being more pocket friendly , IPhone 6 is almost height of S4.
IPhone 6 may have a better Camera for Still Photos and great Auto Modes.
Z3 wins on battery life, twin speakers, and Price.
Personally I like pocket sized Flagships and there's only 2 right now and I was hoping
Alpha would be ( almost , in some ways ).
Was hoping HTC would do one, or LG but no and IF the Xperia Z3 is popular, maybe we will see Alpha Pro or Note 4 Mini, HTC MINI 2 etc.
But I am very happy I can get a Z3 C around $500
which is very close to what I want.
I hope Apple does well and everyone who wants a larger Flagship -you have way more choices.
Small Flagships are very rare, just IPhone 6 and Z3 C that I know of, and both are excellent options IMO.

So is about 289 GBP or about $ 500 including shipping to USA , great price really.
Lowest price on Galaxy S4 unlocked new is about $400 plus shipping....

My only reservation of buying Sony phones is the process of root. I don't like too complicated processes. And also losing features when rooted. That's a retarded thing. Void warranty is somewhat gotton used to but other things makes me think twice. Otherwise i so wanna but this phone. I will wait and observe the developing of this phone and then i will decide to but or not.

In It 2 Win It, 30 Sep 2014I'm surprised its soo expensive in India, in UK, RRP is &po... morehi. no issues with heating up. my battery makes it through 1 day with about 30% left. 7.00am to 11pm. couple hours on net. Bluetooth playing music for an hour. few emails , text and calls. .. im also looking about the phone and apps quite a bit as its new, ( as you do). I very surprised at how long its holding out . its as good as my Lumia 1520 , maybe better by a shade

I'm surprised its soo expensive in India, in UK, RRP is £420, but there are some retailers (e.g. Handtec, Mobicity) that are selling this sim free for £350 (approx. 35,000 INR).
Can someone that has the Z3C provide some feedback on the battery and provide any other issues/concerns noted so far (e.g. whether it heats up etc).

Root your phone, and buy Titanium Backup Pro, with that you can remove even system apps, and move whatever app you want to the sd card.
