the phone is very awesome. when i used it in the showroom it felt so premium(the quality i expected). it is very powerful too and its specifications is worth for 36K. planning to buy this phone within this month...since i felt my xperia j is so outdated...

Had my Sony Xperia Z3 Compact for 3 weeks now it can handle anything even high performance games , videos and music. Thus I guess I made the right choice.

Self cracking glass are all false, i've had my Z3c fell down with touch panel facing downside it never had a crack isntalled was plastic screen protector height is about 5 feet and still in good condition only had minor scrathes in the polycarbonate plastic that houses the glass panel. Nothing is perfect even other high end phones habe it's own flaws. But Z3c i can say that it's 1 of the best value for money you can get right now, cheers.

Bad quality phone? right. Let's see any other so called smartphone to survive this long, then we talk.
Sony Ericsson phones were the best when it comes to durability and speaker volumes, I don't get why you say that. I have living proof my own W995 that Sony Ericsson phones are beasts!

Good quality phone. Have been using for around 2 months. Bought the white version, D5833.
Disabled many of the built-in apps and mainly use for chat, calls, fb/ig/snapchat etc. Snappy with no lag.
Good quality screen and cameras. White balance was a bit blue out of box, but very easy to adjust.
Battery is rarely lower than 60% by the end of the day. Charges quickly. Have never noticed any significant warming.
Bought a cheap, thin clear plastic case early on that provides plenty of protection.
The phone upgraded to 5.0.2 a few weeks ago - no noticeable change in performance.
Only concern is the potential wearing of the charger cover flap. Bought a couple of aftermarket magnetic charging cables but they're hopeless. May consider the magnetic dock.
Highly recommended phone.

I would definitely recommend that you do NOT buy this phone - I owned it for 3 weeks, had minimal problems - until the glass screen became chipped in the corner of the screen by itself. I had not touched it that day - I come home to find a chip missing? I returned the phone immediately - do not risk buying this phone, unless you're willing to pay to get the screen fixed.

My Xperia z3compact is really working as expected,very fast, no lag,good cam fast browser etc. But I noticed the following from my usage
1.charging from 0- 100 takes approximately 2hrs 30 mins, I thinks it abnormal,I charge it with the it's in box charger.
2.My battery barely last a day, I'm not a heavy user,just basic whatsapp and litle browsing. I dnt have games to play. I charge my phone every night, I thought I would use my phone for a day and half before recharging it. I'm highly disappointed with this mobile.
Everything works fine apart from these, which I'd just pointed out,.
PLEASE HELP ME, I WOULDNT LIKE TO SELL IT SO SOON, I LIKE THE PHONE. I HAVEN'T UPDATED TO LOLLIPOP. I NEED YOUR HELP ASAP,YOU CAN CONTACT ME ON 08064788209 VIA WHATAPP. THANKS IN ADVANCE.

its indicated on the sony site that its not required to soak Z3s on saltwaters. ive been using my Z3C for 7months and i already try it twice on the swimming pool and so far so good and im loving it. the precautions are 1.3meters in 30mins and you should close the cap tightly.

How can I fix the heating issue and battery drain in z3c after 5.02 update? I already did factory reset but it didnt fix the issue.

The moment i laid eyes on Z3 i can't help thinking and dreaming to have one. What attracts me most is the waterproof as well as the presence of a service center. It makes me feel such a valued customer. So the next month, I decided to apply for a loan and buy this Z3 to fulfill my dream. Indeed, when i got hold of it, i was very happy and started to let my friends see for them to envy me. Soon I decided to go for a beach because it's waterproof. With only waist deep, i decided to take pictures on some water habitats. Then i started to transfer the pictures to my sony laptop. I followed the instructions after use in the beach like let it wash on tap water then let it dry on room temperature. Right after transferring, i decided to charge then i noticed that the red indicator keeps on blinking when it was supposed to be steady. Then after 2 hours the red was gone and then the cellphone suddenly was "dead" nothing at all. So i went to the sony service center in Ayala Cebu and was told that the phone got destroyed right after submerging from the beach. I was surprised because its supposed to be waterproof. Then the technician said they have been attending to these complains many times already and I was asked to wait for 2 months because they have to send it to Manila. Wow! My dream suddenly collapsed. It was not my fault. I know that the best comment or feedback that you would hear or read are from us consumers because we are the end users. If you wanted to perfected it, then take note of our comments but don't let us pay so dearly that it's like buying a new one. Please be reasonable. I had my dreams come true yet it slips my hands and will wait that long and pay that much? In that case I have to loan again to get my phone repaired??? All I am asking is as a valued customer, don't let me pay that much and wait that long. Should you need to improved the unit, you need our feed back as the end user and don't let us or me suffered so much from the expenses.I understand that you are experimenting on the unit now that you have our attention or feedback, do we deserved to be treated like this? i am really looking forward for your utmost consideration. I will be contacting Ayala Cebu and will reveal myself to them to make myself confidential and will only deal with you directly because I dont want to make a bigger issue on this. All i asked is my dream to be a reality again but not this expensive and not this long. Thank you
