It charges from 0% to 100% in a little over an hour and 15 min aproximately. Its really cool. The battery also lasts for many years just like replaceable batteries do.

Can someone tell me how long the flaps covering the usb port will last.. I need the phone to last for atleast 3 years... and i dont prefer the magnetic dock charger.

I've received the latest lollipop update for Z3C, one thing that i've noticed after the update is the battery drains faster and consume more power..is it me or is there any other Z3C users experiencing the same thing?

My z3compact takes 4hrs to fully charge.
if u dont believe me check phone arena battery test.
The battery performance is not that great on the z3compact, iam not very happy with my phone, battery on standby is only good but on screen time it is consuming more battery& the phone also heats pretty much bad which i fear it might crack the glass as sony has installed a bad quality glass i believe!!

yes u are rite!! even i have experienced the same with sony products, Previously their products were of top quality !! now its worse!!Their quality has been degrading for the past 5 years!!

It would be very nice if this was true,
2nd question please, the battery isnt easily replaceable, so does the battery slowly wear down much after many months.

In recent years I've been experiencing very bad expensive Sony products, from mp3 players to flash memories, digital picture frames to sonyEricsson phones. I have sworn not to buy any Sony product. Self cracking on mp3 players, and now on phones, shutting down on SonyEricssons and now on so called advanced smart phones! such a tragedy.

I have been using this phone for nearly a year now since the day it was released and I had virtually no problems with it at all. I have owned the best phones in the world to date but nothing is comparable to this phone's functionality and practicality. And NO, the glass of phone doesn't brake and I play high end games 24/7.

Even though this small form of the Z3 Compact is perfect for me, I wouldn't want to risk my money for a high-end but fragile device.
