Sony service in Indonesia is worst. My xperia Z1 cannot detected the SIM cards,so I sent it to the Service Center of Sony Mobile in Jakarta on Jan 6,2015 to fix it.Now is Feb 9 2015 still unfix yet,when I asked to the person at the service center the answer is always under progress.

Anyone here can advise
what are the unwanted apps that we
can safely remove that does not affect
z3 performance, because I want to save some battery.
If you have knowledge about this that is much appreciated.

So here is bit of in sight on the battery part. I heard lots people using stupid claim about battery its drain fast and some other using their upto five days without any hickup.
Learn to care Lithium Ion battery what you most have and in return it will yeild you a good battery life. Few tips so you won't cry about phone battery or any other battery matter of fact.
1) charge battery upto 80% only and let it drain yo 20% before next charge.
2) keep stamina mode on most of the time
3) keep brightness auto mode or below 50%
4) first time charge battery 5 hours minimum
5) every 15 days or so let the battery run its corse and let it drain fully and then charge fully again.
6) avoid using phone while charging. (If possible)
7) Stop using any charger which charge fast then 1amp output 1500 mAh is height your battery can toll.
8) don't charge with 2.1amp charger cause the quickly they charge more rapidlythey drain out cause in fast charging all the ion don't activate or absorb the energyas required.
Follow this and you won't cry about battery anymore. For iPhone users no one can save you crying of because of poor battery cause your handset doesn't have enough juice by default but you can use this tip for long life of battery but afraid won't buy you more time. But for Xperia and rest user you will enjoy both longativity and more time to playw with if you follow the tip

Have 5 over 1gb games, 10 other 100-400 mb games, and about 50 apps installed, still 3 gb available...

Hi, can anyone help me? I'm planning to buy it because I hate big phones and I am always disappointed about the duration of the battery and it seems a very powerful device. Still, I would like to know if there is enough space for apps. I had HTC before and althoug you can force some apps to move to the SD card, some of them are impossible to move even if you route your phone. So I had costantly problem of space (plus useless HTC Sense takes so much memory). Second, I would like to know if it will get Android 5.0 soon and if it's not better to wait for an hypothetical Z4 Compact. Thanks!

Hi guys if u r planing to buy this mobile without any doubt go for it. I am using this mobile now since 3 months and I am fully satisfied with this Sony mobile.
Buy it for-
# Nice camera
# Waterproof
# Durability, as I dropped it several time but still the same as new not a single scratch.
# Battery stays almost two days of heavy use
# either it is not 1080p screen but with bravia technology screen is brilliant believe me its almost the same as full HD.
# sound is excellent either on speakers or headphones.
# portability, as its compact but after using it doesn't seems like its small as I was using 5.5 screen mobile before.
# looks premium like apple.
Concern-
# only my concern is as accessories are not vastely available in local market. Or expensive

if sony had done the... moreActually, sony recieved only accolades for its design and button placements. A perfect unmatched design for one hand use, that is copied now by almost every other manufacturer.
You do keep your sammy though, after all you got used to that power and home buttons on top and bottom, that are just clumsy and illogical on a 5 inch and above phones...
Guess that is why doubletap wake was invented, which is also quite unnecessary

This could have been a perfect phone
if sony had done the design better
Volume and power buttons have been softened but still placed in awkward position and the magnetic charging points are again placed horribly in the middle of the phone and to top it all a curved design like the stupid iphone 6
Sony has done a fantastic job here on screen quality , audio and call quality . and not many people will know that it comes with high resolution audio technology.
the day sony improves its outer design elements I will throw my samsung in dustbin

=> Never heard of it, but the charge is pretty fast anyway (from 15% to 100% in something like 4 / 5 hours).
I don't have Facebook apps. Mostly because of the privacy. Maybe that helps a lot to save battery (I use Facebook on my phone through the mobile website, but I work in front of a computer all day so it's kinda useless). I noticed Snapchat used a lot of battery too, but I have it anyway. My phone is always in "stamina mode" (disable data when the screen is off), that's probably the most usefull feature of the Sony overlay (while waiting for Android 5.0 that's suposed to have an equivalent).
I also disabled a lot of useless apps throught the settings and removed everything I don't use. I guess it helps a lot too...
There are a few apps that's suposed to help you save battery. you should be able to find some article about that pretty easily.
About the overheating, I never had any, even with a strong usage. I haven't tried to take 4k video but I read somewhere that it could get hot that way. I should try some day.

Can you tell me something about your battery life, cause mine is like garbage? only fb messenger, whatsapp and web browsing drains 1% from battery in about 3 to 6 minutes. can that be from the wrong first charging? I think mine wasn't new and whom use first didn't consider the 30 minutes minimum charging before the first use. What do you think guys? The CPU is too powerfull and The case CAN't cool it Down, so it overheats very quickly. The only solution is To use it in an environment below 20ºC, or return To iphone, like I did.
