I am trying another route in my quest to find my next "affordable" phone and this time it is the Xperia Z5 Compact vs the iPhone SE. A third choice would probably be the X performance. I feel it is a sensible comparison 'coz of the (almost) similar sizes of both phones.
Heard about some positive reviews of the SE. So, between the two phones which one takes better photos disregarding the actual megapixels and more of the speed, performance and post-processing?
Which one has a louder, more clearer speakers sound output?
And which one is supposed to have better battery life in terms of web browsing and standby time?

Now I got 2 questions from your experience .. what are the demanding tasks that get the device heated up? and how much heat are we talking about? can't handle the device anymore, have to be left to cool .. or just a bit warm, 40 degrees like?
Second thing, the GPS .. you mentioned that it's not accurate .. I don't need 100% accurate, but like 95% not to get lost while navigating .. :)
But more importantly, how powerful the GPS is ..? as In many locations in my city, if the GPS is not sensitive enough, my phone does not track me .. :(
If you could compare the above points between z3c and z5c, would appreciate it .. :)

I know that z5c is faster, android 7.0, an... moreSmashed my z3c and had to upgrade to z5c. Owerall, I like this phone, but I wouldn't upgrade if still had my old z3c. z3c was good looking, small and handy phone.
Advantages of upgrading: it's faster.
Disadvantages: heats up when performing demanding tasks, had problems with mic (probably my fault), relatively quiet speakers. GPS is s*** if you want high precision.
Actually GPS used to be quite good, but after some update last september/october it just became s***. HAd to buy GPS watch for my runs.
IDK about battery life. Lasts full day if I'm not doing too much internet stuff.

I've been eyeing on this phone since the announcement of the X Compact.
But why is the price of the Z5c still high!?
It's a 2015 phone, for crying out loud!!!

i just started using sony xperia z5 yesterday but i seem to have a problem in getting the mobile network, n it keeps on telling me no service, selscted network unavailabie, and mobile network is not available and connetion problem invalid mmi code how do i past trough thi problem//

Do not update to nougat.z3 family the best phone out there. Even today.i'm not sony fan boy. The z5,end x family are not that great.also over 'admired".
Now i'm gona root my z3. Miui 7 in it. Best camera and baterry life.

Got a z5 compact, basically good. Very handy and really compact, battery life also good.
The only one thing that bothering me is the camera, it always took very long time to save photo image when I take photo with camera.

Personally, I thought it was good at first, it runs very quickly and is smooth, but it is an incredibly fragile phone. One slight screen crack and the whole phone falls to bits. The camera quality is meh, so if you want a small power phone then look no further.
