T-Mobile's Magenta Friday offers "free" iPhone XR, Samsung Galaxy S9, OnePlus 6T

Vlad, 14 November 2018

T-Mobile isn't having none of that Black Friday stuff this year, because it's got its very own Magenta Friday. Shocker, we know. Anyway, the carrier promises some interesting deals if you are fine with all the caveats involved - the most important of which is that the offers will become available this Friday, on November 16, so one week earlier than Black Friday itself.

You can nab a "free" iPhone XR, Samsung Galaxy S9 or S8, OnePlus 6T, or LG G7 ThinQ. That's "free" after 36 monthly bill credits, and you'll need to add a line and trade in an eligible device.

Apple iPhone XR

If you're after the iPhone XR, you'll need to trade in an older iPhone from this list. If you want one of the aforementioned Android devices, then the list of eligible trade-ins can be found here.

If you'd rather purchase a Samsung Galaxy S9+, Note9, S8 Active, or LG V40 ThinQ, you'll get $750 off each in bill credits. Once again you have to add a new line and trade in an eligible device (see above).

The carrier will also have deals on accessories: $50 off the Samsung Gear IconX 2018, $100 off JBL Link 20, $125 off JBL Link 300, $10 off Skullcandy Ink'd earbuds, $80 off UE Blast, $50 off UE Megablast, and $40 off UE Wonderboom.

"Going contractless and paying a monthly installment..." Well if that's not the best oxymoron I've heard all day. Contracts are getting longer because phones are costing more, people want a £1000 phone but don't want to pay £42 a month + ...
