Week 41 in review: S23 rumors, iPhone going USB-C in 2023, Tecno Pova 4/4 Pro official
Welcome to the end of week 41 and the recap of its highlights. Let's start off with some Galaxy S23 series leaks. The smallest of the series, the namesake Galaxy S23 will keep the 6.1-inch display but the battery will grow to 3,900mAh. The Galaxy S23 Ultra will stick to a 5,000mAh unit.
Samsung made it official that it will drop the OneUI 5 firmware update to the Galaxy S22 series by the end of October. Now, there will be a time difference depending on the market but it's still great news - Samsung released the previous major update in November last year.
Tecno introduced the Pova 4 series with the Pova 4 and 4 Pro. The two share the Helio G99 chipset and ample 6,000mAh battery and the Pro adds an OLED screen and faster 45W charging. The Pova 4 and Pova 4 Pro are only going to be available in Bangladesh for now, but we expect the duo to hit other markets soon.
Mark Gurman of Bloomberg reported that the iPhone is moving to USB-C in 2023. That would make Apple compliant with the EU's mandate that all portable electronic devices use USB-C from the fall of 2024 a year early.
Getting back to this year, OnePlus will announce the Nord N300 this November with a 90Hz display, 33W wired charging, and a sub-$300 price tag.

I'd rather have usb 3.2 of 5Gbps + 25W than low end usb 2.0 of 0,5Gbps + 250W. By the way, high charging where battery lifespam tested at 10W instead ? 😂🤣 Never believe what chinese brands advertise.
