The night shots on the vivo x200 pro look much better in terms of details and noise, with all three lenses. The portraits on the vivo x200 pro are crisper. I like the vivo way more.

Lyt-900 and hp9 support dcg btw.

Images are clean and depth of field looks genuine because of a large sensor. But all of that in a bulky and heavy phone is quite annoying to carry every day.
For $2000, get a Pixel 8 and a Sony point and shoot. That way, you will have a proper phone and a proper camera. If one of them breaks or needs to be charged, you still get a proper camera device. Even better: get a Nokia feature phone and a fast Sigma lens and a 2nd hand mirrorless camera instead of the 15 ultra.

Well you got to do more then just install the app to get all the features working but i dont think that it's hardware issue when it comes to the cameras and sensors

I never liked the huge cameras on the xiaomi phones or Chinese phones in general. but at least the quality is good, my point is that you can fit that same quality in to the iPhone 16, which has a WAY smaller camera setup. (also the image processing on xiaomis isint as good as pixel or IOS)

I have had the Vivo X100 Ultra, but was not keen on the curved screen and 6.7inch display. In my opinion phones like these need to be 6.9inch with a flat screen, so you can see what's going on properly whilst shooting images and videos.

Bokah was hit and miss with some terrible results with seperation. Far too many blurred images, fast shot was much better but with image quality loss. I tried all video modes and the quality for me personally was an eye opener, not what I was expecting. I've had two Vivos, X90 pro plus and the X100 ultra (Origin OS) and got rid of them both due to no wifi calling support on my network, and a few things I could not get my head around with a Chinese Rom. So I was hopeful for the 15 Ultra on a global release. It just does not cut the mustard for me, it may for others and that's fine.

Still X100 Ultra is Top no1, best setup and camera performance. That s it.
Not impress by 15u camera quality after some shot test, sorry sold it after 3 days, wait for Vivo X200Ultra or Oppo X8 Ultra. Maybe 16u in the future. For past and now Vivo is stellar.

I bought this phone from MI in the UK with loads of freebies and a generous discount. Took it out today and it is going straight back. Video quality has a lot to be desired from my observations and although i am bored of my S24U, it way ahead of Xiaomi. Colour profile on images across different focal lengths was off and although some of the images were pleasing, i would not say there was a WOW factor. Not much else to say, i was a little deflated.
