Excellent all round, takes a long time customising but worth effort. Battery drain is typical of phones with 120HZ and QHD, end up with 20% at end of day with normal use. Though wired charger full to 100% in around half hour. Few MIUI sillyness but not enough to bother. Camera not as great as the adverts but says same shooter as Samsung Galaxy 21 Ultra? but decent enough. This is 8GB and is mroe than enough - No one needs 12GB in a phone even if you are hardcore gaming. For the price less than £600 - oh my word, you'll quickly forget these small gripes! Phenomenal bargain.

I don't have issue because i don't play heavy games. Maybe people complain about heating problem because reviews always play genshing impact. So for normal user this is al good phone.

I am changing my review on this phone. Seems like miui updates to global 12.7 has fixed most of if not all issues. Solid phone after the latest update. Battery could be a little better but overall I am enjoying this phone now.

What's worse is Xiaomi provides additional support for units in China only which means if you be get the Global version you might have warranty claim issues with your phone. Xiaomi should have made a Global recall of Mi11s coz the fried WiFi module is a serious matter. Repaired units via motherboard replacement makes no guarantees that the fried WiFi chip would never happen again.

after last update, battery doesn't drain fast, but software still needs a lot of improvement and missing features.

The phone itself is ok but having using the same power button as finger print reader is bad. My phone went service center for a few times as the button is jammed after some usage. Tap too light, wouldn't read finger print. Press too hard goes into reboot mode. A few times, the button jammed & phone keep rebooting

Naahh the WiFi module getting fried after some time is a major major issue for this phone. I don't want to wake up one day with a phone that works only on mobile data. Plus. I have never ever used a repaired phone in my life and just the idea of using a repaired $600 phone is ridiculous. Even the most recent batches gets the WiFi module fried so what's to regret about that?

I sold my my Mi 11 yesterday with a heavy heart. It is indeed a great handset but after reading several cases of busted WiFi chips I decided to let the Mi 11 go. Didn't want to go through the process of replacing the motherboard which here in Philippines would take 3 weeks to repair since the parts are on order basis. Plus, I cannot accept a repaired phone which I bought for around US$600 since a repaired unit is no longer in pristine condition.
