got this phone 2 days back....how to change all the menus and settings to english...I have changed the language settings to English, though I could see some buttons (and if we go inside that option, the language is chinese) in chinese. Also how to find an app (for example I want to check FB app where do I go)

great phone , i love it used samsung s4,s3 iphone but this xiaomi os is great guys , no issue . super fast, fits my budget too.dont worry guys xiaomi rocks.have no 2nd thoughts ,just buy it

Brought this phone for my wife from hotmed. Genuine xiaomi preload with English Miui ROM v3.2.22.
Build quality is very good for the price. Touch screen respond is good. Camera, sound quality is good. Only missing is the 3100mAh battery.
The down side is a size is bit big and heavy for the screen size. Which make M2 much more attractive. 4.3" higher resolution screen, 4 core and only 1-2mm bigger in size and have 3100mAh battery.

Be careful! Xiaomi phones have a lot of fakes in the market. Even big online shops can sell counterfeits under the Xiaomi trademarks.
I bought a falsified Xiaomi MI-1s from the American “Negri Electronics Inc” online shop. The clone was sold using stolen Xiaomi registered trademarks and product description. By the way, this shop is advertised in GSMarena.

I bought this phone from china last week.
Phone is superb in design, features, performance. It gives the good old samsung galaxies a run for its money. bought for 1700 yuan from shanghai. preloaded with ICS (version15). 4 gb rom - 2.4gb usable.
