    1. Flagship (they have everything great and make no compromises)
    2. Gamer phone (they're not lagging but make compromises such as screen, camera, etc)

    That's generally speaking.

    As for these two you ask about, they're good. Mi 9 Lite is a bit more expensive than Note 8, but it's also a bit better. Price tells you. Surely better screen, little bit better camera, but even better performance etc.

    Deciede with your wallet. Also ask for more advices from users who had both.

      is true that ni9 lite has some issues with gps?actually there is the only weakliness the gps ,at least so impotant serious matter !!!So has somebody who have thiss devise notised that ..please answer ,i intent to buy mi9 lite and gps is deal breaker for me..(i hope not this mobile is first in my list with huge distance from second choise...:);)

            The pure money dilemma should exist only between Mi 9T and Mi 9T Pro. They're the same, in general specs and in build, e.g. same dimensions, both have pop-up camera, etc.

            Mi 9T Pro is more advanced ie better. If you like what these two offer buy one. And if you have 100€ extra, then buy Mi 9T Pro.


            Mi 9 Lite is cheapest ie the weakest but it it offers IR and a notch instead of pop-up camera, and an audio jack at the top. For some that could be highly desirable.

                        Feel in hand is similar, I actually like A50 somewhat more because I prefer plastic build. It's just my taste. I am less anxious with accidental drops if I have plastic and it's lighter. s

                        But obviously Mi 9 specs are overall better. And it's still the lightest glass smartphone, having great battery and camera.

                        My concern is only with my data.

                          I can't decide whether to buy Note 8 PRO or Mi 9 Lite.
                          I really like the amoled screen and camera on mi 9 lite but the priority is good, healthy battery - I've heard that Mi 9 lite has battery draining problem - is that true? Also, some problems with AoD like notifications delay or involountary wakening? Can somebody advise?

Also, front camera in Mi 9 Lite is better, and yes that back is made of glass (CGG5) frame is made od metal.. So, botton line, Mi9 Lite is better phone, screen quality, brightnes is similar (good on Mi 9 Lite and A50). Only one downside Mi9 Lite have, and thats light sensor, it does not work good, but if you turn of automatic brightness it will be fine.

                              Phoneboi, 13 Dec 2019I have found the battery drain very poor for the battery ca... moreNo battrery problem at all, if you have problem AFTER update 11, hard reset of device is solution (but first make backup of photos, videos etc).. Mi9 Lite have aweaome battery life, if you use dark mode, battery life is even better. I also have Redmi Note 5 (Pro) Global version, and battery is good, but in Mi9 Lite is better in rral life usage by 30% (eith same battery capacity and even bigger screen).

                                      I have found the battery drain very poor for the battery capacity/19nm chipset.

                                      I thought it was miui 11, but a run miui 11 on a redmi note 6 pro and have superb battery life.

                                      Anyone else know if Mi 9 lite device has battery problems??

                                        A, 11 Dec 2019Why? Amoled screen- big screen- HDR screen- better cpu (Snapdragon 710) - better gpu- UFS2.1 memory- better selfie camera- Bluetooth 5 (more pairing )- better battery- Infrared port- and lastly a choise to unlock bootloader.
