Finally the problem of can't connect to PC been solve in November update, after i connect to my PC i need to pull down the notification panel to choose charging or moving files ot photos, still this is troublesome compare to Samsung which can connect instantly.

Disappointed with 1st buy! Bough this phone one month ago from Sri Lankan mobile store Dialcom (www.dialcom.lk) and got security update 2 weeks back and thats it!! phone is not turning on after the update and no response even a vibrate or led indicator on power button press. I've gave this to Dialcom service center and after two weeks of check they said there is an issue in motherboard and cannot claim warranty as it has a small dent mark on the body! and also they said that even if I can claim the warranty they will only change the motherboard & give. These buggers have made me go nuts! seems like they are not even a authorized dealers for the phones they sell!! Xioami phones they sell not even from the China!! This was my 5th phone I bought from them.. Will not step into that store and for the Xiaomi barnd again!! Advice to Sri Lankan viewers, DO NOT PURCHASE MOBILES from DIALCOM Sri Lanka! Horrible service center, cunning & unskilled technicians! I'm helpless and they gave me no warranty even they can see that, it is purely a product issue! They will show all their teeth out when buying and show their back when coming to issues and warranty claims!

Anonymous, 10 Nov 2018Mi A1 or Meizu M6 Note? Both has the same specsheet with SND625, except that Mi A1 is android one (Stock ROM) and Meizu is a customized one. If you need battery then go for Meizu. Rest of the differences can be compromised.

I have had my A1 for around 4/5 months and it was working fine. I believe after I updated to Oreo 8.1 the 4g speeds have dropped ridiculously slow.
I am on the o2 network which bands are supported on the phone and I am connected to 4g. If I use the standard APN I am lucky to get 1MB but if I use the idata.o2 which is supposed to be for iPhones I am getting around 5MB.
I restored the phone to factory settings but it doesn't seem to have made a difference - it still running Oreo 8.1.
Anybody got any solutions or similar issues?

Hi, I have a Xiaomi MiA1 and a Chromecast. When I send video to CC from Netflix it works fine, also from youtube, but when I send photos from Google Photos or from mirroring, them appear with a color distortion, a red dominance.
I tryed with a Iphone and there was no distortion.
My Chromecast is second generation and my Android is 8.1.10.
Can anybody help me? Thanks a lot

GT, 06 Nov 2018Earlier i was getting 5hrs of SOT, right now my battery is ... moreBattery life worsening now I can only get 4.5-5hr SOT Max, first half 100-50% show 3hr SOT but s second half 50-0% only 1.5-2hr SOT very inconsistent, most of the day I need to charge my phone during mid day, or else I worry the battery might drained before I reach home, I need Waze GPS navigation everyday.

Earlier i was getting 5hrs of SOT, right now my battery is at 65% and the SOT is 3:15hrs. So its working great.

As my device is now 1 year old battery life was slightly decreasing, our phones battery keeps record of the pattern how and when we charge our device everyday.
So in order to reset that data and improve battery life I came across an app called Advanced battery calibrator. I did the calibration yesterday and its working like a wonder.

- No NFC
- No quick charge (works on AOSP Extended 5.8 so it's good)
Verdict: Absolutely amazing for $180.
