Since i bought this phone it was ok. But last few days i am facing problems with gps.it can not determine my location. Gps based apps can not run also. I have downloaded a software named gps status and fix.but the result is same.moreover i am using Android nougat. Can not upgrade to oreo. Once download can not install oreo.any one can suggest me??

Im into best experience and of caus... moreIf you want better depth effect then probably a2 lite if you want 2x zoom without losing resolution then A1...The performance are the same I think because of 4/64 and there is the same software because of android one...I'm now using A2 lite and for me performance are very good...And camera depth effect is very good!

Jokes aside, try reboot your phone, if this doesn't work, back up your phone & do a factory reset.
It is advisable to do a factory reset whenever you have a major update, as this will wiped off residual cache.

After updating my Mi A1 to Oreo 8.1.0 last week , my network has gone ever since. please I need your help to restore my network . My sim cards n other sim cards don't detect the network after the update. What can I do to save the situation.

zelcho, 26 Oct 2018you mean the 5th October monthly security update? or someth... moreSo far that's the only update, unless there is issue with certain monthly security patch, there is only 1 update a month.
September has 2 update due to serious issue of some unit SMS get wiped off in the first update.
Unless we see a Beta tester invitation for Android Pie soon, or else the is very slim chance we will be getting Android Pie by end of November.

GT, 22 Oct 2018Mi A1 has been spoted running Android Pie few days ago on g... moreNo Beta test mean it will take a long time for the updates to be release OTA.
Usually a invitation for Beta tester for few weeks then follow by Beta Test & feedback another few weeks, all this will take 1.5 months minimum.
Unlikely Android Pie to be release in 4 weeks time.

007, 21 Oct 2018 xiaomi a1 and a2 when upgrade to android 9.0 ? Mi A1 has been spoted running Android Pie few days ago on geekbench. So updated is expected sooner, even before Mi A2 gets it. So thats a great news...

Look like the October update didn't fix the fail to connect to PC issue.
Camera still light year behind Samsung J series.

I have it (global version, bought in Europe), since May (2018), so far so good, i did update on Oreo, works great, no issues, great battery life on average use (4G, gaming, FB, Instagram, you tube, music), Bluetooth works great, IR blaster as well, GPS is perfect (on 100% battery GPS constantly turned on for more than 5 hours it drained it till 40% which i find great), awesome daylight pics, average at low light, battery charging from 0 to 100 in about 1.5h, very fast, smooth, fast responding, for that price it's amaizing

007, 21 Oct 2018 xiaomi a1 and a2 when upgrade to android 9.0 ? Since there is no news on Beta Test for Android Pie as at now, Most probably it'll take another few months, Maybe by early 2019.
Hope Xiaomi done repeat a rush job like how there update Oreo 8.0 last year, the update end up with lots of bugs & took 4 months to rectify.

It does have FM radio as hardware, but doesn't have a software fotó it.
