Vic4BBM, 29 Sep 2018Phones are communication devices and not photography gadget... moreMiA1 camera doesn't even qualified as casual cameras, i have try taking birthdays photo in restaurant which i believe is very common usage for phone camera.
The result are total disaster, i can't even get a clear photos of the cake & people in the partly, my friends Samsung Note 5 rake superb photo in the party, while don't even dare to show the photo i taken with MiA1.

Camera provided is a secondary function. Selfie camera is more for video calling.
For serious photography results, better have a nice camera.
If phones were to be successful camera as well, then Samsung would have sold its zoom series of camera phones in millions ( sadly that never happened). These phones looked very much like a pro camera with phone functions in it. But they realised the mistake and never had anymore such hybrids.

kinex, 29 Sep 2018I have no obvious issues with my MiA1 after the September 2... moreTry connect your phone to PC using USB type C cable, So far i tried my office PC & my personal notebook, both not working, i even do a factory reset, same result, no response & can't read phone contains.

preet, 27 Sep 2018yes you are right.... only security update.....no ois or Ei... moreI used my mi a1 to take some photos for a work project abroad, when I got back to the city all the photos are terrible and can't be used for anything, it was a huge expensive waste of time. The photos looked ok on the phone but when viewed on a PC are a disaster. All mi phones cameras are terrible, I have tried all in the stores and can confirm this, even cheap Samsung's are better.

Andrew Aussie, 28 Sep 2018I have updated. There's no such usb bug.You must be having a God Edition MiA1, when everyone has issues with the phone but your unit.
Same like the previous notification light doesn't blink issue, only your unit is spared, while our mortal human edition will have all the bugs.

Anonymous, 26 Sep 2018What's new?So far nothing that I noticed, but I'm on Nova Launcher. Except battery went from 100% to 92% pretty fast and 4% of usage doesn't show what used it up, guess was the update.
