Anybody out there knows how to reprogram the mi pad in order to control the 'overheating' problem? When I played games on it, the temperature would rise till 70+C° till it's get unbearable to even hold the top part of the pad for gaming. Even my original xiaomi clear case protector is chipping day by day due to the heat. Any suggestions?

For those complaining that their tablet is broken, error, shutting down, etc., just download the latest fastboot firmware and learn how to use flash that using Mi Flash. Majority of your problems will be fixed by this, I'm certain about it.

don't buy this crap. i've been use about a year, and every ota is a crap. hundreds of ota updates but still in kitkat. check out miui forum or XDA forum about this pad. This pad is dead in one year. mipad 2 is coming and xiaomi still hiding the mipad kernel.

Max, 23 Nov 2015I have already Downloaded MX, VLC & Full HD player but ... morei am not understanding what is the problem with your tab and why is it happening. i know some apps which are not supported by this tab can show stopped working error. The vedio thing u r saying i dont know what to say because really i have 720p, 1080p, 2k and 4k vedios in my tab and all working perfectly on my tab using mx player and even with stock vedio player of mi tab. i will again say that try to download your vedios in mp4 format . mkv may cause problems even avi format may not be supported but mp4 format is perfectly fine.
another thing i want to know which version of miui you are using is it stable or developer one do tell me. and if android stopped working problem is causing you a lot i will suggest to flash your mi pad using mi flash tool and use your desire miui version you want to flash. again i am talking about pure flashing not hard or factory reset. i am sure flashing will solve all your problems. just google how to flash mi pad using mi flash tool and do it with stable miui rom.

Hello,my tab is not responding ... All the time it shows that unfortunately the process Android.process.acore has been stopped . and it is shown for a while and the screen turns off.. I have restarted my tab several times but the problem has not been fixed. The screen automatically turns on and a few while later it turns off... What is the problem behind it?

Same Videos are playing in my Samsung S4 mini.
Other than that the Tab is Awesome even Gaming is fun & Graphics are Good But this 1 thing is issue for me

max, 22 Nov 2015Just bought an MI but 1080 Full HD videos are not playing..... morehello max. i think it may be codec support problem for your particular video that you are trying to play. i suggest u to use mx player. As far my Mi tab, its playing 1080p , 2k and even 4k video also without any problem, all videos are in mp4 format. so i dont think so der is any issue with this tab for playing videos

Just bought an MI but 1080 Full HD videos are not playing...

Hi! I'm using xiaomi mi pad now for more than 6 months.its the best tablet available in the market under 15k. But believe me not even a 25-30k tab can compete with it as far as performance or speed! I don't know if I'm a lucky one but my tablet was doing great since I bought it on may this year!its been buttery smooth. And mind you I'm a heavy user! Using daily about 8-12 hours! Awesome battery too! Awesome piece!
