user, 03 Jun 2023Never buy older Xiaomi. This device support expires in 2024.Who cares? Even if support expires in 2024, by the time the soft gets old and you need to change it, it'll be 2030 already.
Android will support old software for about 5-6 years before you start encountering issues with apps not working with your version number.

Battery drains too fast even on 60Hz rate. And you won't enjoy watching movies with dark scenes because screen is too dark. Tried a lot of options to fix it, nothing works. Bought it because I want to enjoy movies, now I can't.

This tablet's screen has excellent blacks despite not being AMOLED. Little to no difference from the Galaxy A34's AMOLED screen.

Seems like the PAD has some trouble.
Sounds that the best you can try to do is to bring to technical service.
Don't do it yourself - especially if you don't know what happened.

Hi. Good evening or morning everyone. Just want to ask some questions, my brother's tablet was bought last year which is one year from now it's Xiaomi pad 5 , then in the past 2 days he can't used it anymore, because it's just shut down and wont turn on again anymore , he didn't used it whole day cause he got school's when he came home and used it after a few minutes it's just shutdown and wont turn on. Then after the shutdown there's a frequency sound you will hear then after that, nothings happening any more it's just black screen , even when we charge it it's just hitting up , is there anything I can do for this to get fix soon. Because he really need it for daily use of school

Hi guys. Just want to ask some questions. My brother's Xiaomi pad 5 just bought last year so one year from noe. But the other day when he is on his school whole day so since they banned for bringing gadget to school he left it on our house , it's not even plugged on charger or something, then when he came home when his going to use it. After a couple of minutes it shut down and never turn on again , there's a frequency sound you'll hear after shutting down. Then that's it it never turn on till now , even if i charged it no screen black screen and only hitting up. Can someone please help me, how can i get this fix for my brother.for is schooling

Anonymous, 20 Apr 2023Can i listen to video audio with the screen off like I can ... moreYes, with an app called ReVanced. It modify the original YouTube app with adding extra functions like AdBlock, background play, sponsor block, return dislikes, old version quality control, download videos.
You need to remove YouTube updates, install a supported updater APK from a mirror and old version (in YouTube's case it is 18.05.40) and run the revanced manager app (it patching the modifications to the original YouTube app)
It working with every android device.

Mine doesn't have lag issue or else tablet hang yet. I only light to medium usage on this tablet. And this tablet already get Android 13 recently and still doesn't encounter much issues.
Most common bug that I found is sometimes app keep crashing and home screen sometimes refreshing certain time randomly.
