The display is very good indeed. Performance is top notch because of the flagship Soc and the battery is also impressive. It'll soon be an year since I purchased this. If anybody wants a stock android experience of using the tablet then the official ArrowOS custom rom is a good option.

The black didn't wash out like you mentioned. It looks fine, yes, fine. Not as fine as AMOLED and not as bad as you mentioned. Everyone's experience is different but that doesn't make yours definitive for this. I'm sorry this happened to you but your experience doesn't apply to everyone, so please refrain from accusing others of lying

The blacks on this tablet are deep and colours are not washed out. Not to mention you can change the colour scheme
I recommend everyone to buy this for media consumption

I got this device since its release and it's just fine I didn't get any issues with software or lag and the screen is good it's almost as good as my phone (poco f5) with amoled screen

The Xiaomi smart pen 2nd generation works well. Smart pen battery lasts a very long time. After waiting for almost a year for smart pen 1 stocks to be available I finally bought this.

This tablets screen contrast ratio is 500:1something where as AMOLED contrast is infinity. I own this model and even I have compared AMOLED with this screen . Colours are decent ...but blacks are like washed out . It even has black crush issues when watching movies with dark scenes . If video tool box is enabled , black crush is solved but, rest of the colours on the screen will look washed out. I WARN EVERYONE NOT TO BUY THIS TABLET FOR MEDIA CONSUMPTION !!!!

Android will support old software for about 5-6 years before you start encountering issues with apps not working with your version number.

Battery drains too fast even on 60Hz rate. And you won't enjoy watching movies with dark scenes because screen is too dark. Tried a lot of options to fix it, nothing works. Bought it because I want to enjoy movies, now I can't.

This tablet's screen has excellent blacks despite not being AMOLED. Little to no difference from the Galaxy A34's AMOLED screen.

Seems like the PAD has some trouble.
Sounds that the best you can try to do is to bring to technical service.
Don't do it yourself - especially if you don't know what happened.

Hi. Good evening or morning everyone. Just want to ask some questions, my brother's tablet was bought last year which is one year from now it's Xiaomi pad 5 , then in the past 2 days he can't used it anymore, because it's just shut down and wont turn on again anymore , he didn't used it whole day cause he got school's when he came home and used it after a few minutes it's just shutdown and wont turn on. Then after the shutdown there's a frequency sound you will hear then after that, nothings happening any more it's just black screen , even when we charge it it's just hitting up , is there anything I can do for this to get fix soon. Because he really need it for daily use of school

Hi guys. Just want to ask some questions. My brother's Xiaomi pad 5 just bought last year so one year from noe. But the other day when he is on his school whole day so since they banned for bringing gadget to school he left it on our house , it's not even plugged on charger or something, then when he came home when his going to use it. After a couple of minutes it shut down and never turn on again , there's a frequency sound you'll hear after shutting down. Then that's it it never turn on till now , even if i charged it no screen black screen and only hitting up. Can someone please help me, how can i get this fix for my brother.for is schooling
