samre, 20 Mar 2023How's the multitasking in miui 14?Kinda bad, after opening 6-7 apps it starts lagging with swipe gestures. Overall using 2-3 apps should run okay. Xiaomi needs to work on MIUI tab software.

I want to buy one of the two, the s7 is $60 more expensive, reviews are saying the Samsung software is really better for all software things. So pls help out by giving the better software.

So i got Android 13 MIUI 14 update just minutes ago, i updated it already. I am quite shocked because this Android 13 is way way better than Android 12, i cannot believe i'll say this but Xiaomi fixed all issues i had on Android 12 (A12 was a buggy mess, practibly unusable).
Great job for once.

This tablet has been absolutely amazing for me. I love trying new technology, and Xiaomi was one of those a few years back. But now, they probably make my favorite products available. I've had my Pad 5 since the initial global release. I just got Android 13 on it, which I think is incredible too! My Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+ is still awaiting that update and it is newer. I did unfortunately damage my Pad 5, there is a pretty good size hole at the top of the screen. Right where the camera is, but the tablet still works amazing regardless. Smoother than ever with MIUI 14.

After 3 months what I like:
1) Fast
2) Good battery in 60Hz , 120Hz is good too, but only if you ready to charge it more often
3) Great keyboard for typing
4) Can download apps from github and other places
What I don't like:
1) A lot of google stuff in it
2) not a lot of stuff optimized for this tab
3) Have to stay on Android 11 because of the trouble it gives to Pad 5 with Android 12/13

The UI of this tab is below trash. Its actually a burden with this type of useless and outdated ui. Total trash UI.

Except samsung ones android tablets have a long way to go

Very good for the price, smooth like an iPad, including the smart pen is really amazing and helped my brother alot on college. Also no lag while gaming, loud speakers, good good good.

are xiaomi has been working into the pad 6 & 6 pro yet? I think that what they should concern is about functionality like front camera placement, fingerprint sensor, pc mode, and don't forget: the UI, the xiaomi pad 5 is great in specifications but it's apperance make it looks like a giant smartphone (front camera placement and UI)
