If anyone reading here with the problem of phone not charging, it's not the USB-C board, but it's the flex cable between mainboard and USB-C board, it needs replaced, or jumper wire across. The copper is so thin in the wire it cracks from temperature changes, resulting in current not passing through anymore. A temporary fix would be to put a few layers of electrical tape on top of the connector so it presses down, but it only works for a few weeks at most.

Long story, the all screen no notch display is a joy to use, very minimum bezel, despite not having 90hz or 120hz, it doesn't affect the usage by much. The single speaker also in very good quality, good clarity and adequate loudness. WiFi 6 reception is perfect, 5G is also good as long as your smartphone support it. The smartphone barely heat up on normal usage. Charging speed is adequate even I mostly just use the 18W QC3.0 charging, and also the 27W USB-PD. The only glitch is the proximity sensor problem on calling, and the double tap to lock screen bugs. Despite this is a F2 Pro, it is actually the third generation of POCO F series. Gaming is phenomenal on the screen, just turn on High Frame Rate and you can enjoy fluid gaming just like those 120hz screen. Doesn't really slow down even after 4 years of usage, the IR remote control also is useful. The downside of the camera is no OIS, which need to have very stable hand, also no auto night mode, need to manually turn on night mode. After all, not a perfect smartphone by any mean, but a good budget flagship smartphone for that time

Long story short, this is among the best smartphone when newly released at that price bracket despite some controversial shortcoming for that era. Not facing any hardware problem, just some minor software UI glitch that I can live with. As a midrange smartphone, cannot nitpicking more, overall good experience

I'm still using Poco F2 Pro SD865 since Oct 2020. That's about 3 years. Its quite good and durable. Previously I used Redmi Note 4 for 3 years. What I like about F2 Pro is the full screen, no notch. The camera is ok not great. Comparing to my wife's Mi 9, Mi 9 is better. Planning to change hers to Xiaomi 14 variant since she wants better camera.

I had only 1 issue recently but it was due to me force charging the phone with power bank while the phone was shutting down. I think it short circuited and could not charge. I changed the flex cable with an OEM and now works flawlessly.

Other than that, the battery health has reduced from 4700mAh to 3900mAh. Looking to change phone next year. Maybe eyeing for a Xiaomi 14T Pro due to budget. Highly likely it will be a Mediatek Dimensity chip 9300 next. Aiming for a 100W+ fast charge. Hopefully the update will maintain at 4 years android update and 5 years security or better.

Anonymous, 11 Dec 2023need your honest opinion. Poco F2 pro or Mi 10T 5G. ? ... moreDecember 2023 and your choice is those 2 phone? I think these 2 is already obsolete. They are great phone of course, and probably still work well if you buy it 2-3 years ago. But buying it now, there are better phones on their price range. Poco F5 maybe? Or Redmi 13T with those Leica lens.

                      need your honest opinion.

                      Poco F2 pro or Mi 10T 5G. ?

                      I am very confused.

I am about to do the same.

Is CRDroid prepared for the camera swap? Does it recognize as Zoom Edition?

A13 is bug free? Can be used as a daily?

I'm still using my POCO F2 Pro today.

At one point I thought I was missing out on new devices and features but thanks to the Android Open Source Development Community behind the F2 Pro, my device has new life.

I've always preferred customs ROMs and always stick with CrDroid due to it's stability as a daily driver.

Recently I swapped the camera module for the K30 Pro zoom module and it's like even the camera has a new life on CrDroid 10 (Android 14).

I have this phone over 3 years now and still a beast like day 1, only few scratches on screen but work 100%, probably hold it for 1 more year before change it.

Yes, we all know SD888 is not a good processor to begin with and might not has any real time performance difference in between the SD865, but that one at least has a flip camera, and also stereo speaker, 90hz screen.

BEAST Snapdragon 865. For me with the newer chipset like 7+ gen 1 and above. that too much for a phone to handle.
