Official global support ended? After updating to MIUI 14 in March, nothing else came out. And in the Chinese version, updates are coming out all the time.

Custom roms are bs in my opinion. JUST DONT UPDATE. Everyone I know as well as my family are practicing the same tradition. DONT UPDATE unless there is a major incompatibility issue with most apps.

My Poco F2 Pro is notvusable - bootlooping after MIUI 14 update so its hopeless. Before, it had charging problem and battery drain which was partly fixed but with this bootlooping problem, it's unusable. Will not waste my money on a Xiaomi phone ever again. Again, to those who still have the phone in OK condition: JUST DON'T UPDATE if you're not ready to buy a new phone.

I procrastinated for a long time to install MIUI 14 and when I installed it I noticed that the battery drains faster and that when I am not using the mobile phone it means that it is on but I am not using it and the battery drains 2-3% in an hour. I turned off the automatic start of all applications when after a while time or restart, they turn on by themselves and normally consume the battery and so again how to solve it. The biggest problem for me if I have to reset my mobile phone to factory settings is that I have to reinstall the bank application and go to my bank to re-register the SIM number because it can't be done online, so that's my biggest problem.

do you need a factory reset better option is to download the pc tool and the entire update connect the phone to the pc and clean it completely

Sent it to service center but they were only able to fix the battery drain and charging problem that appeared after the update. I'll try another phone repair service before throwing it to the garbage bin and not updating or buying another Xiaomi phone ever.

In my country, through an IT portal, I asked the users who have this mobile phone installed MIUI 14 Global and several of them answered me that they have not noticed a single problem so far, one user wrote that until now after every upgrade of the new Android And MIUI made sure to reset the factor and only then everything was completely OK. The only thing I've noticed so far is that my POCO only charges quickly with the original Xioami cable and 33W charger, and I have Baseus chargers of 100 and 120 W and with them the 100W cable charges very slowly or won't charge at all.

I've got my Poco F2 Pro for almost 3 years since I bought it last November 2020, when I got my hands on the phone, I quickly set the automatic to updates off. My experience with the phone is still okay and bearable since I am still on MIUI 11.0.4. I've never updated it since then, but the performance is still reliable, and no issues with the performance for most of the time that I'm using the phone.
Pros for me:
The camera is always good for its price
The Snapdragon 865 can always perform best in games like PUBG, CODM, and Apex Legends.
Fast file transfer speed (UFS 3.1), for 3 years the 256 GB is still not full
In display fingerprint is still responsive like the first time I bought it. (MIUI 11.0.4).
Still, good gaming and overall phone to use in 2023.
Cons for me:
Sometimes loading the home screen after pressing the home button or the recent app button is taking 30 secs to show the apps which is a rare occurrence for me and not an issue considering it is a 3-year-old phone.
Overall, this phone is worth my money, btw I never updated it because of my experiences with my Pocophone F1. I learned my lesson on that phone, you should never update your Xiaomi phone. (if you want to take the risk of your phone getting some issues after updating.)
