It's a great phone but it does have some minor issue, e.g if you're a gamer and tryna play some heavy games like genshin, pubg, etc. it's gonna get hot. By hot, I mean not like the kind of hot you get when you play games on a potato phone. The cooling system doesn't really help but if that doesn't bother you it's shouldn't be an issue. Secondly, if you're using 120hz the screen refresh rate can drop to 60 if it gets hot or happened at random times. Not a big deal it's just personally I'm kinda disappointed but of course you get what you paid for.Lastly, The phone no longer receive any update from Xiaomi, basically you're stuck with miui 13 instead of the latest miui 14 or any upcoming update from them. Overall it's great for a person like me who simply just want performance while disregarding any other feature that comes with it. And yes I do own this phone, what do you think I'm some kind of delusional who speaks simply based on what I see on the internet? No not me.

Just got F3 while still owning X3 NFC.
Couldn't resist the temptation.
Got it for less than $250, and only 1 unit was available (a second hand but it's almost new with all accessories included).
I really got lucky this time, everything is good about this phone (if only to pick on, then its cameras are just okish).
This device is especially good about -
display, speed, battery life (even better than X3 NFC likely due to the display and power efficiency of the processor).
It also doesn't get hot like some people say (at least less heat than X3 NFC on my hand).

5G today really isn't real 5G, and connectivity isn't stable either in most countries, besides 4G is fast enough for most people.
About refresh rate, it doesn't help much as far as I can tell (or just not very noticeable)

And what do you need latest update for, do you have any particular issue you have with the current version?
Too many people are brainwashed into thinking that they need update everyday while in reality, less frequent update is better as long as your phone doesn't have serious issue.

Got 2nd hand for like $240, good condition and waiting for its arrival.
I don't think there's a better deal for this kind of spec.
Anyways, I must be happy with what I've already purchased, right?
I think many of us (including myself) have problem of not being satisfied with what we've already chosen out of best and start complaining about little things.

People don't listen when I say it ain't necessary to update often unless there's some issue.
It's not like if we don't get latest security update, someone's gonna hack, it doesn't work that way (unless we carelessly click some malicious web link or do stuff like that).
