Probably thats what i ll do myself too since mine is still going solid for 2 and a half years but at one point a battery replacement is inevitable.

When i did buy it it was the smoothest p... moreThe Miui14 update for me was more smoother and better battery life but the issue is since update i rarely see Snapdragon870 went to 3.2Ghz its like its already locked in 2.7Ghz max clock speed at most of times.. but hey its 2.7Ghz is still fast af unless you plug your phone while gaming...and even tho like the Genshin Impact will totally roast all kind of phones at medium settings except for the ZTE Nubia that have dedicated internal Exhaust cooling Fan but its going to be a mess if the dust build up inside on it 😅

        Does anyone know where I can replace the battery of Xiaomi Poco F3 in the EU?

          The phone itself works fine, but because of the lack of proximity sensor I would not recommend it.

          When the screen turns on in my pocket it skips songs, calls emergency contacts etc

            Yes, battery will degrade time to time, and the battery life of this phone is just OK-ish, especially if you play games (if not, it's quite good)
            Screen burn in is almost non existent these days.

              Since i brought this at feb 2022 i have mix feelings of Disappointment (kinda average battery life almost same to my Realme7 that has 12nm HelikG95 processor) and Contempts like having my first ever Device able to do Emulation over ps2 and dolphin and maxing almost of every heavy games Graphics without much stuttering..
              I know Miui has some cons on me but i really loved the Miui's Free premium themes(although some paywalled theme had started to appeared on late 2022) and super wallpapers..
              Battery life capacity is now just down from 4520mah into 3690mah average accordingly to accubattery,i love the Snapdragon870 performance i think this phone can still do good till 2026 my concern is it's Declining battery life soon and maybe Amoled wearing for Burns although its still looks pretty good imo..
              Since its not getting Andriod14 i guess its over for PocoF3 users but i think ill buy a second hand lotpop to slap a custom rom and replace its battery to give this Old Beast a second Life which is hopefully the Amoled would be still strong good till 2026..

                In my case I didn't get to enjoy it for long since I didn't get it brown-new.
                I just use it for two weeks and was loving it.
                Now I can only hope that there are able to fix it as it is currently with some engineer. I don't have money to buy another phone - I regret not having gone through this thread before purchase - which is something I used to do 🥹

                  Back cover unglued itself starting from volume down button. Some ungluing around bottom part too. Adhesive does not hold when pushed back. Did not finished even 2 years of warranty. I think the reason is overheating- when charging with included charger or just simply by having a few opened apps. Not even gaming.

                    The catch is if something breaks, it's difficult to find one that repairs it for you or often the cost is unreasonable.
                    Hopefully you'll find one that fixes it for you soon.

                      I love this Phone. When i did buy it it was the smoothest phone ive had. After some months it got more lags and started to overheat. I guess it is becouse the Software got an Update. I hear from a lot of people that this phone has issiues whit dying out of nowhere. Mostly when you restart it. My dad runs a repair shop of cellphones ect and we had some clients where that was the case. It just died and the motherboard (part to charge batterie) broke. So that is so far the only issue you should be aware of as far as i know. Otherwise it is a great phone.

                          You can just flash custom rom without google and do not install FB and any of its affiliates.
                          *Rooting is actually very dangerous, because some shady app or tweak can sneak in, and you will have more chance of getting hacked.

Once you install it, it will collect all data from your phone without your permission even if you are bot rooted and your bootloader is locked !

                            Those social media apps are a real trojan ... and if you are not convinced, just decompile them to see it by yourself in AndroidManifest.xml !!!

                                You should just wait for the official update as they should be some reason why it's been delayed.

                                    You will likely have to check at local repair shops and see if any of them can help.
                                    But make sure you check the price of the battery first online so they won't cheat.

It started artifacting with green lines showing even on boot screen and shuts down. Changed screen still the same problem. It’s completely dead now and I lost 20k pics. No repair solution
