Xiaomi phones like 13T also have a strange color reproduction if you compare it to other brands. 13T was just slightly more expensive than the 12GB version of F5 at launch, now that stock has dried up, it is a tad overpriced like the A54. 13T is the better value buy anyway unless you need Snapdragon and faster SoC then Poco F5 is cheaper, faster and better battery life.

Akame, 02 Feb 2024thats not totally true for Snapdragon, this Snapdragon 7+ G... moreTalking about Discord not being optimized for Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2, I have this Poco F5 exactly, and the app runs at full 120fps as I have observed from scrolling through chats and navigating through the app. So Idk what you meant by it not being exactly optimized, but if that's the case, then I must say that the optimization is incredible because it runs all of my apps very well for the most part for something that's not well-optimized, as you have said.
Regardless, optimizing this SoC is very easy, because it is the same exact CPU architecture as the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, which is used in several flagship devices, but only having weaker GPU for this one.

radwind, 29 Jan 202413T it is more expensive but if within your budget, get it ... moreFrom my personal experience, Snapdragon processor is more problem free and less hiccup overall from day to day usage (despite some generation that have that infamous overheat, but Dimensity processor overheat too), much less apps compatibility problem, also better WiFi 6/4G/5G/GPS reception. For me, if not really into serious photography, then F5 is the more than enough choice that overall balance on everything. 13T if really have the budget, and for serious photography, not a bad choice. All depend on personal decision, there are no perfect smartphone, but only long term user can tell the true pros and cons. Else, not a direct same specs per comparison, so the comparison is not fair. Everything else, it is depend on faith and luck.

F5 has Snapdragon but do you really need it? and for what purpose? if you know you need it it then you would not have considered 13T or other non SD SoC phones.

JN250, 27 Jan 2024Does this phone have fm radio? No, and I've been complaining about it for ages. I hope Xiaomi bring it back in the coming F6. There's FM radio in the X4 GT though, it's a good phone but with LCD panel. Different people view LCD differently, I personally have nothing against it. The colors are actually more vivid on LCD, but if I have to choose, I would rather go for an Amoled panel.

Great phone! but not with MIUI or HyperOS
Running custom ROM and im happy with it, no lags, no heating, awesome battery (about 10h SoT - without gaming, 5+ with)
It feels so plastic, solved by back cover. audio from speaker is terrible. I dont care about camera.

Dont buy for game, 26 Jan 2024I bought after hearing this phone is good for gaming. But, ... moreJust so you know that for gaming not only hardware is important.
There is also your internet connection that needs to be stable so you wont have lags. Also internet connection lag can affect game sounds and some games are really sensitive for the internet connection where little lag can affect your gaming a lot.
Other things are that games need to have the phone supported for there game and optimized also.
Cause market dont have other then Redmi note 12 Turbo/Poco F5 and one Realme phone that have SD7+ Gen 2 chip then these things are more expected as less users who have this chip so they dont priortize for the support

Ezra 1326, 26 Jan 2024I need help cuz I'm having a hard time whether I shoul... moreThere is also Poco X6 Pro as an option that also have Dimensity but at least it is D8300U that performas better then F5 while is cheaper. Get more storage options and 3 OS updates while come out on Android 14. F5 come with Android 13 and should get only 2 OS updates.
13T is more expensive with better cameras then both of them and also have longer software support.
The over heating is probably coming from people who stress test the phone and wont happen for normal phone users.
Gaming long term would heat all the phones as never mind what it is snapdragon or dimensity or what ever other chip. Also when the phone will be on hyperOS then bootload unlock be a lot more difficult even for snapdragon chip to get custom android on the phone if that is a priority. Never mind that installing a new OS on a phone is dying trend as there are not a lot of phones left that have bootload unlockable

I bought after hearing this phone is good for gaming. But, after a month gaming performance reduced. Touch sensitivity is not working properly while playing. Doesn't give 90fps. Game booster is waste. Even a oppo phone give you a good gaming assistant feature but not this so called gaming phone. If you record while playing, the game sound delays for a second even if you use headphones so you can't hear enemy footsteps clearly.
Only good this is battery for gaming
DO NOT BUY IT by seeing good reviews like i did. Totally not worth for your money.
