Good phone, when it works that is. Experienced the infamous deadboot problem when my m3 randomly decided to die on me after lunch. I couldn't get it to start, and even after pressing the volume down and power keys to get it to fastboot mode. Had to follow some tips on Reddit, like waiting for the battery to drain for a few days before attempting to revive the phone. Finally got it to work again, but I can't trust it as a daily driver anymore.
Tldr: Don't buy this phone, unless you're okay with it dying on you out of the blue.

Hey guys, i think you should update to MIUI 12.5.10 Stable (RJFMIXM). I'm currently using it and it got a little faster and no bugs encountered. (I will comment again when i encounter some bugs)

if you don't update your poco m3, you can't use your google apps but can still play games, i'm more on browsing and streaming, this is the most irritating part when that 12.5 patch came to poco m3.

The only phone I regret buying.
The phone started showing problems like shutting down randomly within like 6 months of purchasing. And after that MIUI updates on this phone are just the worst.
Then after 1 year, it started the famous dead boot problem. Once it powers off, you won't be able to turn it back on for like 4 days.
Never ever purchase this stupid piece of engineering.

This is a terrible phone. I bought two, and both stopped working after about a year. The phone wouldn't turn on. Apparently this is a common problem with this phone. There are many discussions on the internet about the issue, but there's no fix for it. I love Xiaomi, but this phone brings shame for the company.

Great phone but unfortunately has problems with the Wi-fi connection. Also, when someone calls me the phone sometimes freezes and crashes. And the worst of them all, if you restart it /shut it down, it will brick and you wont be able to power it again not until the battery is drained completely... huge software issues. Truly a shame, since the specs are very good...

Not ideal for gaming but it's good enough for day-to-day tasks such as social media and browser. Wifi connection is bad but it can connect to 5G WiFi. Stereo speaker is good for its price, display is great, camera is decent, screen brightness is underwhelming, battery is something like the main feature. I've been using this for something like 2 years and bootloops are often which is not you would want. Never experienced deadboot so far. Reccomend or not? I don't reccomend this. Just buy a midrange one if you can. It could've been better if HD only display for more battery life.
