as i have used it for few months, the problem is only about the heat ( while streaming ) and it caused the signal become so unstable. overall is a good phone for gamers and some multi task..

aaa, 01 Feb 2023had this phone for about 2 months+ but im having this wifi... moreIt's a known bug at the moment with MIUI 13 for X4, M4, and Note 11 series. Video calls will lag. Not fixes yet. The best you can do is not open other apps while in video call because it will get worse. The phone will stop responding and would even freeze or turn off. If you need video call all the time, the only thing I can suggest for you right now is to buy another device from another brand. Until Xiaomi fixes this issue. The Poco F3 is the only one I know that doesn't suffer from these bugs.

Been using this phone since I got one cheap around the time the Google Pixel 7 was launched. It came out of the box quite unwieldy with lots of annoying apps and adverts and it took me a few days of heavy tinkering to get everything how I wanted it. Since then this phone has run like a dream, it is the most customisable phone I've ever had and it handles everything I throw at it with absolute ease. I'm sad I ever doubted it. The processors and 8GB RAM never let me down, the phone never crashes, or freezes, it just goes and goes and goes. I keep looking for an upgrade but really, there is nothing for under £600 that looks remotely like an upgrade and I think I just need to face facts that my 'temporary' phone has become my main phone. It is unbeatable for the price and you would need to spend serious money on a Pixel 7 to get something equivalent in spec (albeit with a much better camera).

had this phone for about 2 months+ but im having this wifi/data issue. Even when wifi/data shows full bar and excellent connectivity. The phone will hang ,loading or took so long to work again be it surfing the net, video call, playing game. i have to turn off wifi and reconnect again.. then after awhile it will hang and lag again. i tried with my other phone but video call was so smooth, so is definitely not wifi problem. Anybody know how to solve this problem..

The image quality is a little bit better but also a bit over-sharpened.
In the same way, the 10S might perform better, but the M4 Pro will also be able to handle all of it just fine.
Wouldn't say one is better than the other. They're more like a variant.
It's the budget segment so you can't really have it all. Just choose which features you are willing to compromise.

- Performance is good, can even run some indie Nintendo Switch games like a short hike
- Long lasting battery, unless for heavy gaming, the battery is good
- Fast charging, not the fastest but can be full in an hour
- Photos taken is perfect as I love to take pictures
- It's got all the sensors you need including gyro, NFC and many more
Cons:
- The speaker is terrible, really bad, even worse than my last phone Redmi 9 which is even cheaper than this phone.
- The overheating problem I mentioned, may be experiencing this myself though
- The fingerprint isn't responsive on the first press most of the times
- The camera bump may be annoying since it's massive
- The design isn't everyone's cup of tea
- The performance may be good but may lose in a battle between Snapdragon 695, 480 and other latest mid end SoC's like Helio G99
- When taking close photos like a paper sometimes the background has been blurred
- Encountered some UI bugs
That's all I could say from my experience of using this phone in a month, but everyone may have different experience according to how they use it. There may be more "bugs" that I haven't encountered or just don't really care once I notice it. About the overheating thing I don't play a game while charging so if I can't find a solution in the software, may need to visit the POCO store for a hardware check. Overall love this phone and may recommend it but I even recommend to check the reviews on YouTube and purchase a phone according to your needs.
