Anonymous, 17 Jul 2024Every Xiaomi phone (except for Xiaomi 14) released in 2024 ... moreHow about because they increased resolution and brightness all together across the lineup and besides baterry life is pretty average which is good considering all. If you want better you need to go with LTPS Amoled or LCD and such Amoled costs a lot and I don't you are in for LCD. If you want top notch software optimisations along with display you will have to pay for it either in Sony or Apple flavour. As that's about 4x price difference you can buy a life long supply of power banks and another phone and still have change left to treat yourself.

Doesn't matter if they're still on MIUI or already on HyperOS. So get ready to carry around a power bank with you wherever you go.

The performance is stellar, smooth as butter, no issue at all. It's just the battery life. Something feels odd with how power hungry the processor is. I don't know, perhaps it's the adaptive battery doing wonky things and hasn't settled in yet. Or perhaps it's the badly optimized apps (copium), or it could be that the Mediatek 8300 is too much for my use case. I probably should have went with the Galaxy A34/A35 instead.

What do you guys prefer when buying a new phone?
- Great hardware, bad UI, ads, less frequent software updates (Xiaomi and probably other Chinese brands as well)
- Mediocre hardware, great UI, no ads, regular software updates (Samsung)

Just bought this phone, and I have to say that the battery life isn't particularly amazing, it feels like a phone with a 4200mAh battery than a 5000mAh one. I don't play games, disabled 120Hz refresh rate, turned off many features that would drain the battery (app auto start, always on display, etc.) and the battery still feels mediocre. I just did a quick search and it seems that a lot of people were having the same problem with the battery draining too fast on light and moderate use. What could be the reason for this? Mediatek 8300's poor optimization? Bad modem compared to Snapdragons? or is it just the HyperOS?

Well, the melting part is pushing it but consider it as a warning lol.

Has anyone used this phone with a yellow leather back and without a case? How does it look after some time? How is the wear of the back? Is it okay or it is preferable to use a case? I mean in the long run any leather will deteriorate, but anyways, how does this one show itself?

Dual App, 12 Jul 2024Poco x6p getting stuck on booting after deleted dual apps, ... moreOnly recently but a very different one. Those who created a second space account and didn't put a password on it. They got problems when they deleted the second space. Phone was probably encrypting the one that the user is actually using.
Will more into this as I had no use for a second space anyways. Phew.

Anonymous, 05 Jul 2024Too much overheating even without gaming , wouldnt buy againi disagree with this, some case of overheating sometimes cause by Network Operator data usage and location, i do feel some heat on using social media such as Instagram but not in level of playing heavy games like GI.
You could try using wifi network to reduce heat and turn off prefered network 5G (choose lock on 4G) would help but not much.
Maybe better future upgrade on HyperOS would optimize this phone more.
Well at the end is up to you if you want to spend more $$$ just buy Flagship like Samsung S23 or S24 but i think it still heat up but get better on regularly update & S/W optimization.
