It says dual speakers here and not stereo, is it different? Can I still hear left and right footsteps while gaming?

SkyFX, 29 Jul 2024Glad I never updated reading below. I'm still on stock... moreI feel like you're exaggerating on such an inconsequential software. If you feel like your games are running smoothly, why should you care about the FPS numbers being displayed?
Sure HyperOS is flawed and it could use a lot of fixes, but you should at least be more grateful you're getting such a high performance CPU on a $300 phone.
If you end up switching to a weaker phone from a different brand, I guarantee you'll also end up complaining that you can no longer play a demanding game like Genshin Impact at the highest settings with a stable 60fps.

I got my Poco X6 Pro couple weeks ago , i recently noticed that the power consumption increased , by example: Instagram was draining 1% every 7 minutes now It's draining 1% every 5 minutes, codm also now draining more power per hour, same for genshin impact , YouTube.......
So is it a software issue or what ?
I know the changes are small but i'm afraid it get worse.
(my phone run on hyper os 1.0.9.0 global version ,and i adjust the brightness to 50%)

At least it's advertised like that and downsides are pretty much the same. CPU scheduler tuning is poor as expected. Back in the days I did two step tuning optimal almost instant ramp up and free scaling form there to sustainable with restriction there (as much as I could really restrict it as load calculations where rather a lot over real utilisation) not to go higher if it really, really doesn't have to. It was going with one big core on, second in low power active state and rest sleeping. Worked very good and better than ARM's best energy aware effort but of course it whose device specific to implement. I got sick of user feedback and left it all regarding Android mooding happily spend next 5 years on locked Xperia which just worked and whose optimized and limited pretty good.

SkyFX, 29 Jul 2024Glad I never updated reading below. I'm still on stock... moreAnd Game Turbo's bad fps counter, based on Apple-slave games like Genshin that will never get higher than 60fps, is a minor nitpick compared to the benefits like better touch sampling rate and performance.

Glad I never updated reading below. I'm still on stock v1.0.1.0.
It's known initial release OS version have higher thermal points for throttling as they want to hit high in benchmarks in reviews. Then they lower it later with updates over time. Almost all brands does this. But apart from security patches, I've seen nothing useful coming out, just complaints.
Until I see something "Wow" in an update, I'm staying on stock version.
They should start with overhauling their Game Space app and stop with the fake before/after FPS, it's completely disinformation to give an illusion of great performance. I have one screenshot with FPS before "15" and after "119".
Please show me again how I have 120 fps in a 60 fps locked game~
They had a very good game center at release in Poco F2 Pro with GPU/CPU usage, but they ruined it with an late update and gave us the fake crap we have now.
I have no idea why they chose to sabotage their gaming app.
It's really embarrassing for a brand that sell itself on high end chipset for cheap, with a good chunk being gamers and power users.
It's probably the worst "Game Center" out there from all the brands now. Its only good use left is for windowed apps, but you can already do it with the normal sidebar.
This will probably be my last Poco unless changes are made. I thought HyperOS would save the abomination that was MIUI 14, but it's just a reskin of it.

Try connecting a cooler or, in my case, just a small fan. I fully charge it in less than 50 mins.

Saitama49, 27 Jul 2024I got my poco x6 pro a couple days ago, but now i noticed t... moreThey slow down charging speed with the boxed 67W brick in firmware (ROM) update because users complained a lot about battery life and heating. Higher the temperature is battery gets charged little less (swallow, diffusion...). It's perfectly normal that temperatures go up the faster you charge it and really not advised to fast charge it and heavy use it at the same time. That can cause permanent damage and that's exactly what happened in some isolated cases so they slown it down. Ideally balanced is 20~30 W a hour or hour and a half. Regarding SOT I am getting about 10 h in two days moderate use in balanced mode; WiFi mostly ⅔ Chrome, ⅓ YouTube (non HDR 90%) and some music listening in background (no screen on) and no gaming. So not bad ta all. You can burn battery down in 5.5~6 h of gaming but again that's usual. Good part of bloat off, animations off and 130 (typical SDR white point) nit's auto brightness calibrated at night with little GPS use.

Phones are better suited for simple, casual experiences like Subway Surfers, Candy Crush, and Clash of Clans. People don't tend to play these games for many hours because they get repetitive quickly.
Large-scale games like Genshin Impact and PUBG are better enjoyed on a monitor or TV because you'll get a more immersive experience and usually better performance. When you play these games on a 6 inch phone display, your fingers will usually get in the way, and you can't make up text or important little details as much.

Kaaaaan, 27 Jul 2024You got to know that everything has limitation despite this... moreTrue, phones simply aren't built to run demanding games/applications for hours without end; they can't have an effective cooling system to withstand high amounts of heat because of their thin form factor. Yes, you can use a cooling fan, but you have to have it plugged in at all times, which is not practical and defeats the portability of phones.
If you want a dedicated system for long gaming sessions, just buy a Nintendo Switch. It has way better games than 90% of the stuff you can find in the Play Store, and you almost never have to worry about it not being powerful enough to run a game without lag.

JimmyTheGreatest, 25 Jul 2024Why shouldn't users be able to use the features they p... moreYou got to know that everything has limitation despite this is one of the value cheap but extremely powerful smartphone, most heavy games are overheating their smartphone, push it to the max despite this is not how it works where in long term will damage the phone. Either you get more powerful smartphone that can handle the game, or you don't set those game to maximum setting even the smartphone can run it. So, buying a cooler is the correct way to do it, this is what overclock/pushing limits gaming do. So,nothing wrong with this smartphone, for normal usage, this smartphone definitely out perform the rest in this price category, but gaming wise could be subjective due to it's pricing, cooler is the way to go.

Seeing those talking about radio is just funny. Yes, to have radio function is a plus, but radio function now can be replaced with digital radio apps, it use data rather than free radio wave. I know compare to traditional free radio wave, this is ridiculous, but now, it is a trend, become digital radio lets those have internet can listen to radio too, such as computer, laptop, smart tv where those that don't have radio receiver built in can also listen to radio. I know, you get some, you lose some, for smartphone case,it is about cut cost. Nothing wrong with cut cost for tech, because big brand is doing so, so no point for smaller brand to bleed their money to do what big brand doesn't do anymore.
So, get your fact right, you still can listen to radio, but no more free with traditional radio receiver.
