I have problem switching network type from 2g to 3g it change but signal is stuck on 2g-edge

I am using redmi 2 since last one n half year and quite satisfied wid d product. Today while charging d phone it got switch off and when I tried to restart it, it got extremely hot. I got scared of it and removed the battery from the phone to avoid any blast/fire incidences. After some times when it became normal, I fixed the battery again and got surprised that the phone started heating again without switching it on. And the heat was concentrated more near rear camera portion. It was hard to hold the extremely hot device. I finally removed the battery once again. At present I M roaming at Jharkhand and it is one of the toughest job to find out a xiomi service centre over here. Can any one help me out to sort out the issue and restart my devise.

I bought Redmi 3s prime yesterday and soon got an os bug update of about 67 mb .. after updation the phone is not starting .. it's still keep on the 'mi ,powered by android' loading page ...I restarted many times ..bt same issue repeats ..pls somebody help me

on top of screen written that no service. any sim card does not work in my redme 2 mobile phone and here in no any service center to contact...

My son gifted me a Redmi 2 (1 GB ram & 8 GB memory) after getting his first job just over a month ago & for my retired life purpose, I am fully satisfied with it & keep on filling its memory with bhajans, pictures & videos etc and keep worrying that the memory will get full. Can the memory card be expanded if it gets full? My email id is mr.droy@rediffmail,com.

This is Called "The Best Phone" Because
It Has Got Almost Same features of
IPhone 6 But this is Better Than IPhone !
It's Price is 10times Less than Iphone
It has 4G Dual Sim with Dual Standby
Same 8mp Rear Camera as IPhone
But 2mp front Camera but iPhone only 1.2
I bought It with Fingers Crossed Expecting
Not to Get Bumped By the Phone problems
It Never Bothered Me Its as Good as iPhone
It's Almost 1 Year with It & It's like IPhone !

This is a bad phone.don't buy it. It shall be hanged after few days.company is not responsible.

AsitPaul, 08 Aug 2016I am facing BIG Battery Drain issue. I switch off my mobile... morePlease check your Security app>> battery>> battery use. Find which application is using the battery much. If it is 'media server' drains your battery, we have a solution. It is because the media server is constantly searching for the media in the memory if you have any movies in mkv format. Then you need to create a".NOMEDIA" file in the directory where the movie is kept.
*Also you can report the bug to xiaomi.

I am facing BIG Battery Drain issue. I switch off my mobile ; Charge it upto 100%. But when I Switch ON, it shows 58% etc and drains quickly. Simetime on 40% it Switch OFF automatically . Then when connecting charger it shows 0%. After some charging it reads previous 40%.

AnonD-567342, 02 Aug 2016What is second space in miui 8second space means you can have two different profiles in same phone. which means you can set different home screens and two different set of apps. it is like having two phones in one phone. you can use one profile for your personnel use and other for office use .but free ram will become less. available in miui 8 lollipop onwards.
