xiaomi support post sales is very very bad - brand has to improve support across india that too at this affordable price remote location support is mandatory . else users may find it difficult to invest even at this cost.

To be true in this price range (6k in India) this is one of the best phone. I have been using it for last 3 months now. but still touch is good. and Front Camera is also good. Rear works good but at night if its pitch dark then quality could be low. Its good for users who are not into gaming. I use it for online purchases, watsapp, facebook, browsing, videos and music , youtube and its works perfectly .
However there a few issue. 1)it hangs sometimes as RAM is only 1 GB and i open so many apps simultaneously . it also hangs when you want to unlock the phone. sometimes i need to press that lock/unlock button several times 2) If you are using 3G for downloading and even if for watsapp or FB, Battery drains very fast. it has issue with storage....eventhough i have set external memory as primary storage device for downloaded songs and videos but everything gets stored in internal memory
still i will say that this phone really worth buying coz even many comparatively high range phones have issues with Battery, Internal Memory and of course have seen many phones getting hung

Hi there. Ive some prob with my redmi 2. When i remove my earphone from the headphone jack, it show that the earphone is still not removed and make the loud speaker cannot be used.. Any body got some solution?

bad experince again with redmi 2 ram,
rest its ok,
i have used infocus m2 and i was shocked as it was the perfoming phone in budget,
no heating,ram managment was good,games resumed from multing tasking ,camers was very good.and lots more .guys insted of redmi 2 1 gb varent buy infocus m2 its the best phone in budget,i will soon be back to infocus m2.

Bought the 1GB version.Updated to the latest Miui 6(v6.6.8). Phones works wonderfully. RAM management was good. No lag even with 1GB ram. Camera looks good on daylight but bad during low light. Screen was sharp. Battery was good. After whole day of whatsapp,some browsing,youtube,email, battery still left 45%. Need to go to Security app>Autostart app to solve whatsapp/line notifications delay. Heating never exist.

Only 1 thing i want to say
Buy the phone from official website www.mi.com and dont buy it from other website..So you will get the original phone and not Ap or clone or maybe cpu n gpu has been change with other type,which can cause alot of problem..
